Worked perfectly for whatI needed it for. Light enough so that it won’t throw off the weight of your camera, and pretty powerful for its size.

Overall: Really impressed by this little light. Prefect size and options to mount for everyone!Build: Small light. Plastic construction but doesn't feel cheap.Performance: Wish it could go a little dimmer but being able to adjust temperature is perfect. Battery life is good for something so small. I appreciate that its USB-C. Got about 30 minutes of use at full tilt.Value: Compared to other brands this is a good price for what you get. Adjustable temp is a great added feature.

I use this light in the garage for filming restoration projects. It's low-profile, bright and has a good battery life. Really like that it uses USB C for charging and has a battery meter.

Great little light for video filming. I like the fact that it uses a USB-C cable for charging as I don't have to dig for a micro USB in my drawer.Compact light, bright and easy to use. I just wish it could dim down a little more than it does. Regardless, you won't be disappointed.

It's well made, super bright at max, solid color temp adjustment, and good cells.If I had one small knock, it's the cold shoe interface. I won't drop points, but it could be a little higher quality.

This light is pretty great. Does what it needs to do, and it does it well. It's a pretty lightweight package to toss on your rig and comes in at an affordable price. Has plenty of power for its size and could easily be used as a filming fill light.There are multiple sellers that actually sell the same exact light on Amazon, and this one looked slightly different than another one that I reviewed, but it turned out that they were both the VL81 fill light. I liked my other one that I got, and it works great. This happens to be the exact same thing. The USB-C port is appreciated and the build quality overall is a solid 7/10. It's not a premium camera product, but no one spending $25 on camera lighting equipment should expect premium quality. The hotshoe mounts on the sides of it are pretty tight, it's not easy to stick two together and have their front faces line up.The light from this is pretty great and the adjustable color temperature works as expected. The quality of light that comes out of this one and my other one are pretty much exactly the same. The diffuser on the front works well and you can only see the individual LEDs if you squint hard at it or purposely expose for it.The pictures on this review show most of what you need to know. Good value overall and I plan to use it for shoots in the future, both video and possibly photo for fill lighting.

Highly impressed by this little light. Have used it for a few weeks now, 5-6 battery cycles, multiple applications.You can tell whoever designed this has done work this product would benefit from. Multiple shoes, the option to attach via shoe or 1/4". So far so good - we'll see how many charges I get out of it. If it lasts a year I'll be happy.So far it seems to give about 30 minutes at full blast, and the battery indicator is a nice touch. I'll post some photos and possibly make a short video next time I put it to use.
