Wow this is heavy
Super solid & honestly good quality. Had to return it as it’s just a bit too big & heavy for me. Might be fine for a guy. Seemed indestructible.

Good shovel shame about the handle
The handle supplied thread doesn't match the welded nut used to hold it so it will not bolt on properly, rather it came with a proper long handle not the pathetic plastic one when it doesn't work.

strong and easy to use
this scoop is tough and well made, i put a thick wooden broom handle on it and its super sturdy and good for hard pack sand and shingle beaches

Seems good quality
Used for the first time, and build quality seems good. Cut down a thick wooden broom handle and bolted in place. Its quite a large scoop, so can be quite heavy levering out the sand, especially for me as I'm disabled. However compared to many others it was a good price. Nice having the sturdy short handle too.

Great sand scoop
I use it ocasionally on sand but mostly on pebbles... it doesn't show any signs that it might fail. I use it for metal detecting, really sturdy this one!
