The interior can be used as a picture frame, which I find very successful. ✅ The filter is delivered packed in a very sturdy leather case. A wrist strap is sewn in, so you could wear it on your wrist if you wanted to. A microfiber cloth is also included. ✅✅ The filter itself is really high quality and feels the same. A stable and good metal frame with a decent feel / surrounding structure. ✅✅ The gray filter darkens the image by 10 f-stops, which is really a hell of a lot. But this way you can "stop down" properly even with a lot of light and shorter exposure times and of course also take corresponding long-term exposures. I didn't notice any aberrations or an uneven gradient. Really great! ⚪ The only thing I would have wished for is a sturdy box in the carrying bag. As good and attractive as the bag is made, the filter is not protected against dust and external forces, which I would have wished for in this price range. All in all, a really high-quality filter for a corresponding price of just under 200EUR. Whether you want to and have to spend that much is an open question. This makes it ideal for long exposures and to "artificially" extend them. Especially with moving processes such as rivers, waterfalls, road traffic and others, beautiful soft gradients can be achieved. The filter comes very nicely packaged and is a lot of fun unpacking. Anyone who loves unboxing will get their full enjoyment here. The filter comes in a cloth/leather bag. Very nice in itself, but in my opinion a filter sits more snugly in the well-known plastic boxes. The inside of the packaging can be converted into a "picture frame". Funny idea but I think there are nicer ones. But let's get to the filter itself. Here I have to say again that the performance matches the price and is absolutely justified. Flawless workmanship, both on the filter thread and the glass. The filter can be easily and well unscrewed and released again. No comparison to cheap filters. The glass is of the best quality and the optical performance cannot be distinguished from other ND filters from well-known competitors. In this way you have an even darkening over the entire image without loss of quality or any color casts. In summary, a very good filter in terms of quality and optical performance. It has weak points in the somewhat loose fixation in the storage bag, which costs half a star. But we're still rounded up to a full 5 stars and a buy recommendation.

The ND filter from K&F Concept is delivered in an elegant black and gold cardboard box. There is also an instruction inside to convert the packaging into a small picture frame. I love this upcycling idea! Inside the packaging, in addition to the actual filter, there is a storage bag made of fabric and PU leather and a microfiber cloth for cleaning. The actual product, the filter, is impeccably processed and appears very stable and valuable due to its weight. It can be easily screwed into the filter thread of my Sigma 16mm f/1.4. I tested the filter with the lens mentioned above on my Canon EOS M6 II. I appreciate this combination for the special sharpness in the imaging performance and also with the ND filter and appropriately adjusted exposure times I get wonderfully sharp pictures with daylight with the intended motion blur . I don't see any falsifications with regard to the colors either, the same applies to chromatic aberrations on light sources. This filter really only swallows light. Overall, I can therefore only give 5 stars, the filter and the scope of delivery are convincing. 180 € is of course not little for a filter, but quality at this level has its price.

It is particularly compact and thin, which is particularly useful with compact lenses. The filter works excellently. There are no color fringes, air pockets, color casts or discolorations visible. Even with images, the filter is absolutely uniform. The filter thread is milled from aluminum and clean. The filter can be easily screwed onto the lens. Conclusion At the time of my purchase, this ND 1000 filter cost EUR 159.00. High-quality glass filters in this quality class are usually significantly more expensive. So I think the price/performance ratio is very, very good. It's not for nothing that KF-Concept named this filter line Flagship - the filter is worth every cent and really is an excellent addition to my existing screw-on filters. Meets the expectations of a K&F filter very well. Beautifully crafted thin brass frame. No observed color cast in images or distortion. Comes well packaged and includes a soft carry case.

This neutral gray filter, which darkens an incredible 10 f-stops, is a masterpiece both optically and mechanically. The brass mount is unique, this filter will not bind into your lens thread as easily as some other alloy mount filters. This is a great quality feature, even if it naturally also means a higher weight. The glass is highly coated with several layers, so there are almost no reflections, that is to say, the picture does not deteriorate noticeably through the use of the filter. This is also very good and by no means a matter of course for all filters. The filter not only has great quality features, but also a sensational price. One conditionally affects the other. For the quality offered, the price is actually completely reasonable. If you need a neutral density filter, you can also find it from manufacturers of inferior filters for a tenth of the price. But which quality you prefer is entirely up to you.

The K&F filter is very well made. The thread runs cleanly on the lens. The color rendering is also great. Focusing is logically somewhat limited, but those familiar with such filters know that you have to pre-focus manually and then unscrew the filter. The carrying case is great and well made. A hand flatterer. But: what for? A lint-free plastic box or even metal box would have been 100 times more relevant. There are 5 stars for the filter, unfortunately the bag gets zero points.

The ND1000 is very dim and has limited usability, leaving you to decide if you really need it. If you do, K&F Concept offers good value for money. Good performance and nice presentation. Recommended.

I've tried maybe half a dozen K&F filters over the past few years and found them to be some of the best I've experienced. This high density ND 1000 met my expectations of excellence that this brand has now established with me. There's little to say other than that it's thinner than other filters of all types, meaning it's less likely to produce unwanted refractions once mounted. Like all filters, it must be used alone. When added to an existing UV or clear filter, often used as a lens protector, the two filters can and will degrade image quality. This refraction problem is a good reason not to mount the UV or clear filters as lens protection. A lens protector works almost as well as a protector, but doesn't interfere with a filter. In use, this ND 1000 filters up to 10 f-stops (eyeball's estimate) without affecting color or causing other undesirable effects. Like so much photography, the good stuff costs money, but it works.
