Very nice filter.

Fit and finish is top notch. I enjoy having the little doo dad on the filter ring for turning it effortlessly and minimizing lens shake.
The ND filter part is more than adequate for the intended purpose...portraits.
The 1/4 mist diffuser is what you want for portraits. The image still remains relatively sharp, but just takes a 'touch' off of the facial features.

Images provided....the image with two black smudges added is the image with the filter on. The non smudged image is with the filter off. All settings are the same for both images. Notice the 'D' (focal point)...sharp, but just a smidgen softer. That's what you are looking for.
The case is a cut above as well. I get a bit tired of the plastic clamshells which dominate the market. Not K&F...they give you a nice padded case that looks good and will stand out. You won't have to treasure hunt for it.
They include a full catalog inside as well as a nice microfiber towel in a sealed package.

This filter is worth the asking price.

I love K&F and this is a quality filter. The feel is premium. The movement is very smooth. And it even comes in a nice slim case that looks like felt and leather. I have all of these filters separately but this is the first time I got them all in one. The good thing is, there is no vignetting, so that is the advantage of having them all in one relatively slim and light filter kit like this. However, it just makes for a pretty fiddly setup when you are trying to get shots. I realized I needed to step down the light first, then adjust the CPL. Often I would do this out of order because the light would change, and then I got the wrong angle on the CPL.

Also, it is a lot to also have the mist diffuser in there. But that may just be my shooting style with a mist. I like to blow out the bright light sources with it, especially with things that are edge-lit. But combining it with these other filters just made it harder to expose my shots properly overall.

I think the best case scenario for this is landscape photography, specifically moving water like a stream or waterfall.

The pics I attached are not great. But they are straight out of my S5IIX with a 24-105 F4. Just to give you an idea of what you are working with.

Overall I understand why you would want a nice set like this for some cases, but it is not as versatile for my personal shooting scenarios. I was hoping for a one-filter solution to take on a vacation. I may still bring this because it is so compact, but I would probably also bring my 3 separate filters.

Just a note, don't worry about the orange knob unscrewing and falling off. It seems like it will but it just gets loose and does not actually come off unless you unscrew the tiny screw inside of it.

What are ND filters:
A neutral density filter, or ND filter, is a physical filter made of resin or glass that attaches to the front of your lens. They can be used on film or digital cameras and block out some of the light in your image. If certain areas are too bright for your desired camera settings. Think of it as sunglasses for you're lens. They come in two types single use and variable. Single use is a set number of sun blocking percentage and variable means you can adjust it on the fly. Usually with a wheel on the filter itself. If you are into film and want to use you're camera at it's full potential I strongly recommend this variable ND filters. K&F have a long history of making great affordable lenses and attachments that offer great value, these are no exception. They are light weight and the glass is amazingly clear and offers a high end experience for a fantastic asking price.

I admit that at first, this 3-in-1 filter generated skepticism in me. The idea of ​​combining Black Mist, VND, and CPL in a single filter seemed strange, perhaps impractical. I thought, 'Aren't I paying for something that forces me to use all three effects all the time?' And I know many professional photographers share this idea, but the truth is, when analyzing my outdoor workflow, I realized something important. Typically, to achieve similar effects, you can use the three filters separately: ND or VND, CPL, and my favorite, Black Mist. This is not only cumbersome, but it can also lead to vignetting, internal reflections between glass, and the like.

That's when I understood the clear idea behind this K&F design. A 3-in-1 filter that's very convenient for situations where I need a lot of light control, glare reduction, and a soft Blackmist effect (for those who don't know, this is when it breaks up only the highlights, gently spilling them out, making the image more organized and less electronic). Outstanding filter from a well respected filter manufacturer. This combo filter combines a CPL, 5-stop variable ND and ¼ black mist for a subtle amount of softening. It also noteworthy that the design doesn't introduce the dreaded X-cross effect. The large red adjustment knob will lock in place when you rotate it.

The contrast variation of this thing for the price is amazing. I got it as a gift for my brother who has a photographer and this is a quick swap out.

This is a very good filter to have. This filter has 3 effects in one filter. It has black diffusion mist effect, variable ND filter and circular polarizer. The black diffusion mist is great for softening the highlights without losing to much sharpness. It's good to give a cinematic film look. The ND filter brings down the bright exposure from 1 to 5 stops. This may work outdoor during the day but the subject still needs to be under the shaded area because 5 stops may not be enough. The circular polarizer is great to reduce unwanted reflection and glare. It works well if there is water in the frame. This will reduce the reflection on the water.

Everything is in one. There is no need to unscrew or screw to make adjustments. I like that this filter has a friendly dial thumb that I can easily rotate to control how much stops I want. The built is a high quality one. The glass is a high quality one as well. The optical glass ensures excellent light transmission and clarity. The glass is scratch-resistant.

When I don't use this filter, I can remove this filter and put it in its beautiful filter case.

I have a 58mm K&F Concept K-series filter, and don't get me wrong, it's very nice and a very good value, but the glass here is better and it has a more premium look and fill. Machining is excellent, the threads are super smooth, it feels solid in the hand and you can just tell the glass is good by looking at it. It's hard to describe, but the images look more pleasing than the K-series, granted they're on two different lenses. It has a really nice soft, dreamy effect that I love for portraits, the variable ND works as it should, and the CPL does it's job without distorting or coloring my images. It's an excellent filter and pairs nicely with the Sigma lens it's on; I'd definitely recommend this filter both to amateurs and professionals alike.
