The filter has more grip than the lid, so if you remove the lid, you can't bring the filter with you.
Very practical.
You just have to get used to it, especially since it feels a bit insecure while you get used to it.

Perfect combination with the Meike Cine Lens series
The 1/8 magnetic filter creates a subtle, natural look without immediately obtrusively acting as an effect filter.
A perfect add-on for my Meike Cine Lens series.
The magnetic adapter ring is strong enough to support the filter, ND filter, and lens cap during "normal use."
Of course, I don't usually throw my camera around, which could easily cause the filter to come off. Apparently, others here occasionally have issues with the magnet strength.
Compared to competing products, it's a good price-performance ratio, but still on the expensive end of the spectrum.
