Is there a firmware upgrade for this adapter? I just bought one and the AF doesn't work with my Tamron 70-300mm. It works with my Canon 50mm

I had to sell my Tamron 70-300mm EF mount because the adapter didn't work with the lens. I tried with other Canon zoom lens and also didn't work. So far it only works with the 50mm.
