The door has a good rubber gasket all the way around and 2 clamps the close it tight. Not sure that I personally would try it under water though. Hope this helps.. (Tech Mom's husband)

I've had them out in the weather for the last 4 months without any problems. Some pics are hard to see to the water on the lens

I have had my 2 cameras in several rains and have had no trouble at all. I just dry them off, if they are wet, when I pick them up. So I would not worry about rain on the cameras.
