There's no designated space for it, but the case is easily squashed, so I imagine that shouldn't be a problem 

Check the dimensions of the N-1 controller. Go from there. This case would probably work, but the fit could be a bit loose. 

Hello, the inner foam liner of this Mini 3/Mini 3 Pro case is made of high density egg-cotton with EVA added on the surface, so it won't deform even after a long time use. Please don't worry about that.

It was tossed and dropped and it kept raining. Backpacks on, sliding around, pushing back and forth. Never stood on it or ridden on it or ridden on it. Never place the freezer on it. So dropping it off a jeep hood or motel closet is no problem. Sliding around on the back of the jeep and sliding under objects is no problem. The DJI Mini 3 Pro also fell through the trees from about 21 meters in the second week of the trip on the way down and hit branches. The front right arm was a bit loose but didn't cause any problems with flying or video. Dji sent me a new Mini 3 as part of the DJI Care Refresh program when I got home. The Mini 3 isn't as fragile as it looks. I never had to change the blades. I have never stepped on it or otherwise put it in the water. We have a few unique videos. still SMILING. So yes, good case. This allows the air to flow into the case if a vacuum forms due to temperature changes. The first time I used it I had to lift the lid to open it as the case is airtight and has an IP67 rating.
