Yes it should be fine...but I doubt it's worth it...since the hs only works in the 5GHz range

The 5.8 G signal does not reach further than about 500m because it jumps to 2.4 G, so I would try to strengthen the 2.4 G

Using the antenna itself is legal. However, it may only be flown within sight, which then makes the antenna unnecessary again. In the best case with a spotter (with binoculars) I have reached 1,000m with a Mavic Mini, beyond that the Mini can hardly be seen even with binoculars. So why do you need these "amplifiers" then with the 5.8 GHz I can easily get there and with 2.4 GHz easily over it.
