Will a nikon f-mount lens (nikon af fx nikkor 50mm f/1.8d) work with this adapter on my canon t2i? i realize it would be manual focus.

This adapter ring Nikon-EOS is for Nikon F mount to Canon EOS camera, you mentioned your lens mount is F mount, so this item is useful for you.

The listing doesnt say it will work with a GH5. Will it?

I have the Nikon F mount version and it works with the GH5. It's all manual focus, of course. There is no lens data transmitted to the camera.

Does it work with gh5?

Yes. Works great. I have used it with many old and new Nikon lenses with my GH5 camera. This adapter and my Nikon 10.5mm fisheye is one of my favorite combos.

Am I supposed to use an adapter to attach to a Nikon camera? If so, can you suggest an adapter?

No the other way this is to be able to mount the Nikon lenses onto the micro 4/3 camera body

how about Focus Peak, will work ?
A
Focus peaking is controlled by the camera, not the adapter. You need to check your individual camera. My Panasonic G6 does have focus peaking active with this adapter and other adapters also.
