Sensitive, Good Audio
This arrived today and a quick test confirms that it will meet my needs. I'm using this mic with my Sony ICD-UX570 Digital Voice Recorder. Here are a few things that I wasn't sure about in case you have the same questions: 1. The mic cord is equipped with a 3.5 mm tip-ring-ring-sleeve (TRRS) plug. An adapter is provided to convert it to 3.5 mm TRS. I have to use the adapter in order for it to work with my Sony DVR. 2. Although the mic is mono, it feeds both the right and left channels on the recorder. Since I'm using this for voice dictation that's fine for my application. 3. The mic has excellent sensitivity. I am using the lowest sensitivity setting and still get lots of audio input. 4. With the Sony, any time I plug in an external source I'm given the option to select Mic or External. Mic is the proper selection for this mic (External requires a higher level input, such as from a radio's headphone jack). The only objection I have is that with the adapter installed the plug is quite long for use with my tiny recorder and I will need to be careful not to put too much stress on the recorder's jack. A right angle TRS plug on the cord would have been ideal.

Good sounding headphones
These headphones sound very good, light and comfortable. Bluetooth works well. I've had them for over a month and still on the first charge, granted I only use them occasionally. The only problem is the 3.5mm jack, it will only accept cables with a small or slim connector, anything larger won't seat all the way. Other than this small issue, these are great headphones.Update 3/8/2022I've had these headphones for about 4 months now, in that that time, they performed well. Recently, I tried using a 3.5mm cable and when inserting, the jack pushed all the way into the headphones, not sure what happened, maybe it came loose from the circuit board. Anyway, these were past Amazon's return date, so I contacted the company directly, since the headphones had a 2 yr warranty. I received a response within an hour and the representative apologized and made arrangements to send me a new pair.Great customer service. I understand that things like this do happen, and whether they're high end or low end products, what keeps customers coming back is a company that stands by it's products.

5 jacks by one of the repair shops I contacted and
After breaking my 3.5 audio jack on my laptop I was in a quandary trying to get it repaired so I could use my headphones. I was told about these usb to 3.5 jacks by one of the repair shops I contacted and was pleasantly surprised to find this splitter at a good price point. It works as well as I hoped and having the extra jack was a plus. I'm very satisfied with this product.

Works well, no issues
This is a review of USB to 3.5mm Jack Audio Adapter. This works as intended. My existing USB 3.5mm sound card died and I just wanted an adapter instead and this worked in its place. The only downside is that the cable is short and I wish it were longer.

Perfect Fix!
Due to a faulty 3.5mm input jack on my laptop DOA. I had been looking for something like this for a while. Works Great with Windows, and most Debian Linux versions.

Q
Can I use an external power supply to power the camera? How to choose an external power supply
A
Yes, DC interface requires 6V/5A adapter, 3.5mm (outer diameter) 3mm (inner) plug.
Q
will this work with a longer ordinary off-the-shelf 3.5mm jack audio cable?
A
this mic has a standard 3.5 mm jack.
Q
Is it compatible with sony a7iii??
A
Yes, it will fit any Sony e mount body, either full frame (a7..., a9...), or aps-c (like a6500, etc)
Q
Does this adapter allow for canon fd lenses to focus to infinity on sony e-mount mirrorless cameras?
A
yes, i had no problems with infinity focus with this adapter. the only FD mount lens i use anymore with my sony is a vivitar 20mm, and i pretty much only shoot infinity focus with it.
Q
I currently own 3 a-mount lense (from a sony a230) just bought a sony a5000, which is an emount. Will this adapter fit my old lenses to my new camera?
A
No, this adapter is for the older manual focus Minolta Rokkor MC and MD lenses. If you want to autofocus and aperture control you will need the Sony LA-EA4. (the lower cost Sony LA-EA3 will electronically connect A mount lenses but you will have to manually focus.)
