I really liked this filter. I got this filter with the intention of the Solar eclipse that just occured. I am very happy that I got it and will be using again.

I had researched both Cannon and Nikon cameras when I decided to upgrade to a SLR. I already owned a Rebel 35mm camera and knew what kind of pictures it took, but like the ease of a digital. Came across someone who had a Cannon XT. It looked alot like my 35m. Long story short, I bought the XSi. It is wonderful. I like that it is easy to use, but gives you professional quality pictures. The biggest selling point for me was that I could you use my lense from my 35mm. The one thing I wish was available, not necessarily for this camera but for any digital SLR is a guide to lenses and attachments to enhance the capapbilites of this great camera. It was a great purchase on my part. I like that the SLRs are available at an affordable price for someone who takes and shares alot of pictures, but not necessarily a professional photograhpher. However, this camera will make your pictures look professional.

This UV filter has been a great addition to my Tamron 35mm for my sony. This filter is definitely more of a protector than a modifier at least in my use case, it helps to protect the exposed focusing mechanism of the lens and makes sure that no dust or particulates get into the lens. Overall I would say that this is a great filter to put on any lens as it adds a barrier between the front element and the world, and I didn't notice any negative effects on image quality by having this filter on the lens.

The way I use this filter is by combining it with a fast lens like the sigma 18-35mm f1.8 art. I use this filter in combination with the fast apertures to blur out the backgrounds in broad daylight without letting too much light into the picture. If I want to make it lighter or darker all I have to do is turn a ring at the edge of the filter.The only thing that gets me is when I turn it too much and it ends up unscrewing the whole filter out of the threading a little bit. But that's not a bad thing, its just a part of the experience.I bought it 8 months ago. This has been, thus far, an excellent purchase.

This was a present for my 15 year old granddaughter to go with the 35mm camera we bought her. She put it to use immediately and seems very proud of her new photography equipment!!

I have had a 35mm camera before and several digital camera's. I was disappointed with some of the digital cameras because sometimes they had correct lighting and sometimes they didn't, sometimes they were in focus and sometimes they weren't all were auto focus. I was a little afraid to spend the money on an expensive camera( at least expensive for me),but I'm glad I did. This camera is so easy to use and it takes great pictures. I have taken pictures from a distance and gotten home, zoomed in on a subject in the picture cropped out the rest and the quality of the print was wonderful. Can't complain about anything so far. The price was right also.

This telescope has great viewing capabilities, but i wish i could find the solar filter that goes with it.

I have only used this camera a few times but have been very pleased with it. I was able to use lenses from an older 35mm Canon Rebel, which is nice. This camera is good in automatic mode but has a lot features that I still have to play with. You can use the viewfinder or the LCD screen but not both for sighting your frame.
