For this 77mm ND filter，the lens cap/hood should be 86mm.

Can I still use a normal lens hood on it? Does it need a larger size?
A
Hello! If you use the magnetic UV filter separately, or use the magnetic adapter ring together with the CPL filter, you can use a normal lens hood on it. Does not require a larger thread. If you use the magnetic adapter ring together with the ND1000 filter, you cannot use another lens hood on it.

Can I still use my stock lens hood?

We installed it on our Canon RF 24-105 lens and it was possible to use the lens hood on this lens because the lens hood attaches to the lens via the bayonette mount which is on the outside of the lens diameter and the magnetic filter adapter screws into the thread on the inside of the lens.

Can you attach a lens hood on the 52mm lens?

hello , if you put a lens hood on 52mm filter, you need a 55mm lens hood

Can this filter be fitted with a blackout hoods?

Can be fitted with a hood, and it suggested not be used with a hood
