I bought this to monitor my 3d print status remotely. With this camera along with Raspberry Pi and Router with VPN capability, I can monitor my 3D printer remotely and also record the time lapse.

Works GREAT for Octoprint
I bought this and connected it to a Raspberry Pi running Octoprint for my Creality Ender 3 3D printer. I'm really pleased with the ease of installation (plug and play) and the image quality. I can watch my 3D printer from anywhere and keep track of it's progress, or prep it for a print before I leave and send the print from wherever I am and watch it go.It works great with a PC, too!

3D printing takes hours to print a model. This camera allows me to check on my printer using my phone.

Highly Customizable LED Lamp
I like the reading and sleep settings on this model. Makes for a great print lamp over my 3d printer. Adjust it to low sleep setting at night and high reading during the day. Adjustable color temp is nice and USB is handy. Only downside is the bulky power adapter.

Best to gift to children 5 and over depending on i
i was fascinated with the 3D print of the moon. I gifted to my grans, they loved it. The touch feature was the best, you can change the light colors. Perfect night light!I have not asked about the battery life.

I love the brightness of the led strips. It works perfectly with my 3d lipthophane print I'm currently working on at the moment. Will consider buying from them again in the near future.

Great Camera and Accessories!

I purchased this for the ability to time lapse some 3D printing I am doing. I have yet to print the needed mount, but I did a test video on the HD setting and the camera did great. The colors are slightly dulled, but still vibrant! I love the simple menu system and the included plethora of mounts and waterproof casing! Thank you!

Very good camera for 3d print timelapse
Great 3d print Timelapses. I’ll also update when I can get in the lake and use it on the water.Picture quality is good. Long term battery life yet to be seen. I’ll update in 6 months

Too loose/there is gap between lens and adapter ring
A
- If there is ever any more than a slight amount of rotational play, you may want to try tightening the lens mount adapter so it will hold the lens tighter to the mount. There are 3 flanges in the middle of the adapter (what the lens locks onto) that are split open slightly, this gap is what gives the tension that holds the lens tight to the body. Over time and with use these gaps decrease in size, no longer pulling the lens tight to the adapter, which allows the lens to move inside the mount more than it should.
- To tighten the fit, get a slim metal object (a #1.5 or #2.0 small flat eyeglass screwdriver is ideal) and insert it into the slit to open it up just a little bit (see images below, make sure to do it to all 3 evenly). The more you open the gap, the tighter the lens will be to the adapter; too much and the lens will have a hard time mounting so make sure to do it just a little bit at a time to all 3 flanges evenly, it doesn’t take much at all to get a tight fit.Note: please do not use too much strength, or the shrapnel will be damaged.
