The camera is great. Would have given it 5 stars however the software did not find the camera. The picture is very clear.

What more is there to say? This really does a great job. I don't have any of the fancier big name brand action/sports cameras to compare with. I bought this based on price and the many positive reviews.I have used this camera to make a timelapse of a 7-hour drive to the coast and all over the countryside when we reached our destination. It's been used for taking video while riding bikes on the mountain trails. I couldn't be any happier with this purchase. In fact, I came back and bought a second one!Directions made sense to me and I had this thing up and recording in no time. I have not experienced any battery issues other than the fact that I have not taken the time to get some extras, that's on me.Thanks for making a great product at a great price point AKASO! If you are looking, just give this one a shot. I would imagine you will be happy you did.

Amcrest technician Arthur, promptly answered my call and provided excellent support when I was unable to set up the new camera using my smartphone. I was given a straightforward explanation on how to use my pc to set the camera up with an Ethernet cable and then how to easily add the camera device to my smart phone. I found that checking the Amcrest webpage ahead of time useful for avoiding some of the problems I've read about in some reviews, for example, it's important to check browser compatibility. So far, I've not had problems with the camera; I find it useful to be able to customize the camera in so many ways; I recommend taking the time to become familiar with the settings to avoid confusion when using the device.
