Very good value for a glass polarising filter, especially at 95mm dia. Works very smoothly. With the lens I use there’s no chance of vignetting but due to the narrow profile I guess it could be used with much wider angle lenses. The case is excellent - foam lining is formed to make the filter easy to lift out.

The Greystone CPL Filter by Haida is definitely well-made. The threading is smooth. There is knurling at the outer edge of the rotating ring and above the threading. I threaded this filter onto my UV filter, then removed the UV and threaded it directly onto my lens. Both times I struggled to remove the filter because it's ultra slim and the knurling is tricky to grasp.The filter performed perfectly in an LED screen test. My test photos were of the sun glaring off a pool surface. With the filter, I was able to step down a full stop, reduce the glare and capture much more detail of leaves on the bottom of the pool (winter time!). The lighter photo with the sun glare is without the CPL filter and was shot at f/8.This is a great value for a high quality filter.

Quality of the filter appears very good. But a 95mm filter doesn't need a case 6 1/2 inches square. It's nice to have a case in the camera bag and the monster case this filter comes in, is not manageable for the average camera bag. I'd give it 5 stars if the case were a normal size, but I had to design and 3D print one myself.

The threading of the filter for the lens cap or threaded hood is not 82mm. I just purchased an 82mm lens cap and hood only to find out it is too large. Looks more like it needs to be a 73mm to 75mm thread. The 72mm thread for my lens is correct, however, and works well.Update 11/4/2020: Ordered a 77mm to 82mm step up ring. The ring fits and means that this is a 77mm thread and not an 82mm thread for the cap and hood. If you buy this filter, you will need a hood and lens cap for a 77mm thread.

This is a great filter. The threaded ring is quite narrow, which I like. This is the second one that I've ordered.

Great filter for the price! I bought this 95mm for my Nikon 200-500 5.6 to protect the front glass. I am super happy with the build and quality of this filter. It comes in a great padded case and threaded right on smoothly with no issues what so ever. I did before and after photo side by side comparisons and could tell no difference in color or clarity and that is exactly what I was looking for.

Nikon 95mm Neutral Color NC filter is worth the price: quality is superb and goes with the quality of a Nikon 200-500mm telephoto lens. Filter's glass is clear and clean, without distortions. The ring is well machined and low profile, adding only 5 mm (0.2") to the lens's length.I haven't seen any negative effect in the image quality using the filter, but for sure it has protected the lens front element from dust, fingerprints, smudge and more.There is no point in spending hundreds (or thousands) of dollars in a high quality lens to then put on it a low-quality cheap filter that distorts the image and produce vignetting.
