this solar security camera's operating temperature is -20°~ 50° C(−2 °~ 131 °F).
if the weather drop below -4 F, the solar camera just can not work, needs not to remove to avoid damage, it will work after the weather is higher in the future.

Why does the instruction manual suggest the pir sensitivity should be set at low in cold weather?

That’s because cold weather is brutal on batteries. We have, over the years, had to replace game camera batteries at least once during deer season. Right now we are having historic cold in Texas. Even low pir may not save your batteries but in normal conditions it’s still a good way to get more use out of them. HTH.

How is the audio on the videos? Many cams at this price the audio is almost silent even when animal is close to the cam.

I think it is quite good, better than any of my other cameras. I hear birds chirping and the trickling of the creek. I also think the picture quality is better.

what is the difference between ND 2-32 and ND 8-128 ? and does the 67mm works for tamron 28-75 for sony ?
A
The amount of stops is the difference. It’s basically 2-5 stops, and 3-8 stops. 2-5(2-32) is perfect for photography. 3-8(8-128) is perfect for video. I do both so I got both and they both are PERFECT.
