A serious digital camera at a bargain price.
I read this comprehensive review before purchase and you should too:http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/canon-eos-m/canon-eos-mA.HTMI'm an amatuer photog for more than 40 years. Until recently, my only concession to digital photography was the purchase of inexpensive Canon point-n-shoots. As film photography has become a greater burden and digital has caught up in terms of quality while surpassing in convenience and affordability, my discovery of this little gem at a bargain price was perfect timing. Adding a $15 adapter, I can use may ancient but excellent FD mount Canon lenses - think F1 and AE-1 cameras. Auto-focus speed doesn't matter to me because I still prefer to manually set almost everything. That said, the AF performance of the EOS M seems equivalent to that of my son's Nikon 1.My purchases for my entry into serious digital photography to date include: the EOS M with Speedlite 90EX and EOS M 18-55mm IS lense: an SD card (PNY 64 GB High Speed SDXC Class 10): a spare battery (Opteka LP-E12 LPE12 2000mAh Battery Pack): a lense adapter (Fotasy Canon FD Lens to EOS M Lens); and a neck strap (OP/TECH USA System Connector Super Pro A).

Solid mount...another tool for the tool kit!
I purchased this adapter along with the EOS M camera kit to use with my EF and EF-S lenses. After less than a week, I have been able to try out with the EF 50mm F1.4, EF 70-300mm L, EF-S 17-85mm, and EF-S 60mm lenses. The adapter fits perfectly. Same form and fit as the Canon extenders I have. The EOS M is of course made very tiny with any large EF lens. It creates a sort of 'pocket Rebel'. Of course, once you mate with the larger lens, this is no longer going to fit in anything less than a massive coat pocket. The combination of camera, adapter, and lens seems comfortable after brief handling. The EF 50mm was a very comfortable combination, the adapter does not add a very large amount to the overall combination. The upside to this adapter is if you already have a variety of EF and/or EF-S lenses. The image quality of the JPEGs, right out of the camera ranged from expected to stunning (the latter results obtainable with off camera studio flash strobe and soft box). The adapter was immediately a huge part of the EOS M camera purchase. I highly recommend it if you have other lenses. Again, the results I got with the EF-S 60mm macro (and studio lighting) were stunning. It transformed the camera from curiosity to studio prime. No problem using manual mode and Pocket Wizard. Include this adapter in your purchase and you won't be looking back.

What I expected, in the best way possible.
In my opinion, if you go for the Canon EOS M, you really ought to own both lenses as there are only two native lenses out. While I contemplated buying a lens adapter for the bigger and bulkier pro-style lense, I'm quite pleased with the mix of the 18-55mm and this 22mm. Great at capturing pictures in low light, and the pancake lens with your EOS M really makes it a truly portable DSLR level shooter.

Perfect match for the EOS M
So you finally decided on getting the EOS M (it's flaws considered). I assume you are a canon user, have a couple of good (canon EF/EF-S mount) lens lying around and would like to be able to use those on you EOS M. Just like me, you love your canon dslr but sometimes wish you can travel light but still be able to enjoy the canon ecosystem that you have grown to love. If you are what I assume you are, get this lens adapter.I took a gamble and bought a "like-new" used from a seller at Amazon and was very happy with a purchase. For anything more than $150 I probably would think twice. But I am not taking a start out because of the price. This adapter handles every canon mount lens I threw at it. The build quality is nice. The design (the way it attaches to the eos m; the included, detachable tripod mount) is well thought of... just perfect.

Exceptional adapters that focus to infinity with m
Part 1 - Minolta MD to Sony NEX adapterTechnically, it slightly overshoots infinity but the issue is easily corrected by dialing back the focus ring just a tad --- Not exact but clearly better than not-at-all.Although very light due to extensive aluminum usage, the build quality and fit-and-finish of the adapter is superb. Connections on the lens and camera mount sides are tight and precise --- absolutely, zero slop. The top of the lens release button is flattened making the lens removal process very easy and comfortable.Other notes:- There are no electrical connections so focus and zoom must be done manually on the lens itself- When mounting the lens, turn the adapter clockwise till you hear a "click"- Tested with a Minolta 85mm f/1.7 Rokkor-X MD lens mounted to a Sony a6000 camera-----------------------Part 2 - Nikon Ai to Sony NEX adapterEdit: Based on my positive experience with the Minolta MD adapter, I also purchased the Nikon Ai adapter later. As with the Minolta MD adapter, the Nikon Ai version focuses beyond infinity a tiny bit. Fortunately, the same solution applies - dial back the focus ring and the horizon will become crystal clear. The build quality is impeccable and the finish is smooth and clean of burrs or machine marks. Connections on both sides are taut and precise with zero play.Additional notes for Nikon Ai adapter:- No electrical connections present so focus and zoom must be done manually on the lens.- Unlike the Minolta MD adapter, mounting the lens for Nikon adapter requires a counter-clockwise turn until you hear the "click" of the locking mechanism- Tested with a Nikon Micro Nikkor 55m f/2.8 Ai-S MF lens mounted to a Sony a6000 camera

A
hello, The Nikon-EOS adapter ring fit for nikon AI mount lens and canon EF camera. so the adapter ring fit for your Nikkor 55mm 3.5 ain’t lens on to canon 80d
Q
I have a canon ae1 camera with alot of lenses will i be able to use those lenses on my canon eos t7 camera?
A
The adapter for a EOS body to a Canon FD manual is the adapter needed. The Canon AE1 uses the FD/FL lens mount. The one I purchased works without a hitch. Mine is a K&F Concept Pro lens mount for Canon FD, FL lenses. From a F1 to a 5D Mark 4 with no issue.
Q
What is the difference between Nikon G and Nikon AI
A
Firstly, let's talk whether you need Nikon AI adapter ring or Nikon G adapter ring.
If your lens mount is AI, please choose AI one, if it is G please choose G one, there difference between them is G adapter ring with a aperture control ring.
If you want to use Nikon AI lens on this Nikon(G) adapter ring, it could be attached, but the aperture control ring could not be used,as there is a pin on Nikon G lens that could move the aperture control ring but no on AI lens.
So why have a separate adapter for the lenses with the 'G' designation? While the G lenses are the still the same physical F mount, the G indicator means there is no aperture dial on the lens itself. So while the G lenses will physically fit the standard F mount cameras and adapters, there is no way at all to change the f-stop on the lens. The adapters marked as Nikon G Mount are specifically made for those lenses in mind and have a dial built into them that allows you to control the lens iris from the adapter!
so here let's discuss the 4 items
KF06.068 AI mount, aluminum material
KF06.286 AI mount, with 1/4 Female thread screw for mounting onto the tripod
KF06.309 Ai mount, cooper material
KF06.070 G mount, aluminum material

Q
Some questions about the aperture
A
  1. please judge whether your lens could adjust the aperture there is only Nikon(G),also called AI(G) adapter ring has the aperture control ring, and is only for Nikon G lens,
If you want to use nikon AI lens on this Nikon(G) adapter ring, it could be attached, but the aperture control ring could not be used as
there is a pin on Nikon G lens that could move the aperture control ring but no on AI lens.
  2. Some buyer mentioned could not adjust the aperture, actually this is because your lens does not have the aperture control function, If your lens does not have a manual aperture control ring, it will stop down to its smallest f/stop by default
  3. Since there is no electronic contacted on our adapter ring, so could not transfer the aperture number to camera.
