Great quality pictures at a great price
I'm A wildlife lover and have 5 cameras, which I check every day. Best photos come from this camera. Love it, only thing I would change is I regular SD card, instead of mini. My arthritis makes it difficult to remove and replace.

Great upgrade
The GH5 is great for video but I also had to keep my Nikon for photos. This camera allowed me to get the great image and features of the GH5 in a full frame version that makes it a solid photography camera. After a few months of using the S5 with the kit lens I decided to trade all my Nikon stuff for lenses and such for my S5. Very pleased

I would guess it to be appx 2 feet.

What kind of aa batteries can be used? there are rechargeable nickel-zinc that are 1.6v but hold their charge longer. if not these, what's recommended

The camea can take 1.6v rechargeable batteries, but in general rechargeable battery might drop its voltage quick depend on its physical performance. In the cold weather, recommend using Energize lithium batteries to get longer lifetime.

The listing doesnt say it will work with a GH5. Will it?

I have the Nikon F mount version and it works with the GH5. It's all manual focus, of course. There is no lens data transmitted to the camera.

I think so. If you want to get a close up of wildlife,i will recommend you these binoculars. The disadvantage is that they are a little heavier and bigger than other binoculars. Bur if you want to look at the various options for magnification ,you’d better choose magnification like these 10x. They will help you view more filed and view,hope you enjoy your binoculars.

Yes. Works great. I have used it with many old and new Nikon lenses with my GH5 camera. This adapter and my Nikon 10.5mm fisheye is one of my favorite combos.
