I great buy
So far so good. I just got the product and linked it to my phone pretty easily. Quality of sound is good instructions are pretty clear on how to use it. They are comfortable and easy to use. I don't know about the battery how long it last yet. It is suppose to last 8 hours but i have not yet put it to the test.

Easy to set up/use. Works like it's supposed to.
It does what I need it to do. If I bought another camera like this I would probably flip for like a bluetooth review capability but that's not to knock this camera. This thing does exactly what it's supposed to do just fine.

It attached to our tripod easily with the attachment that came with it. Works like a telescope looking at the full moon!

The cold shoe mount is a standard size design that is suitable for most external microphones and LED lighting equipment on the market.

Just be sure that it can 'see' wind coming from all directions and that it doesn't read air temperatures from hot surfaces (concrete, roofs, etc.) If you can mount it to a free-standing mast that would be ideal.

does the adapter work with the sony alpha7III?
A
I use it on the Sony Alpha 6000 with a manual FD 50mm. AF and aperture transmission are not an issue here. Actually, the adapter only keeps the lens at the right distance in front of the sensor. This works great and I think it will be the same with the Alpha 7III.
