I was thinking that I needed something different towards my style or vibe. And this mist filter has done the trick! I love this thing and I hardly take this off my lens. This is great for video, gives off that glarey effect which is neat. But with photos, may have to rethink that because it would take off the digital sharpness. But i love this filter. Gives you more options for your creative needs.

Each lens has premium 18-layer coatings that give a flawless appearance and reduce lens flare and avoid vignetting. Also, it is very easy to install, just unscrew the original filters in a counterclockwise direction and then turn the filter clockwise to easily change the filter.Upon using this, I must say that it works as it should, but it is not highly comparable to the branded ones. However, this one from Neewer is indeed ideal for beginner or amateur photographers. So far, I am very satisfied with its quality even though it doesn’t have that high-quality filter. It is ideal to use in capturing your adventures while travelling.With all that said, this filter kit is a of reasonable quality for beginners to intermediate use. Quality-wise, it is on par with the price.

similar to the expensive pro mist type filters, this gives the look a more cinematic glow to videos and photos as it adds a slight haze to the look of the picture. The 1/8 is lighter than the 1/4 filter size and always get the 82mm thread size as you can get step up rings to fit the filter. The filter gives the lights a fog like effect without affecting the sharpness and it smoothes out skin tones as well. Overall nice filter that fits the camera and protects it and is best to have than using a cheap UV filter. The glass doesn't adhere oil or fingerprints so you don't need to constantly wipe it down as well.

Pro quality glass with every size lens adapter you can think of. Includes two cases, one for the glass filter and one for all the lens rings and square filter holder. The filter itself is a nice thick piece of glass & wouldn't be easy to break that's for sure. 10 stop ND filters are excellent for any kinds of soft motion blur effect...waterfalls, waves, rivers, even plants, trees, grass blowing in the wind. I used it for the provided sample at noon when it really couldn't be brighter and it still had a nice effect on the waves. It does tend to make my auto white balance lean colder or bluer so putting the white balance in "cloudy" or "shade" may help you if that's an issue. It's easy enough to correct later if necessary.

Creamy footage, the 1/4 Pro Mist makes my BMPCC look like a mini Alexa, couldn't recommend this more!!!

If you are like me, and considering this over the Pro-Mist 1/4, I strongly recommend. This filter gives more accent to the light in your shot, while keeping the darks fairly dark. I would recommend this to any person looking to add a filter to their collection.

Black-Mist- oder -Diffusion-Filter gehören seit ein paar Jahren zu den Geheimtipps in der Filmwelt, auch wenn der Effekt an sich nicht neu ist. Früher behalf man sich beispielsweise mit etwas Vaseline auf einem UV-Filter. Der Effekt ist ähnlich, aber natürlich sind Black-Mist-Filter um einiges hochwertiger.Der Effekt lässt sich schwer beschreiben. Das Bild als solches ist scharf, aber die Highlights wirken leicht "verschmiert". Alles bekommt dadurch einen etwas cineastischen Hauch. Der 1/8-Filter gehört zu den schwächsten und so mag ich den Effekt auch.Was für mich heraussticht ist der Preis. Bei anderen Markenanbietern ist man problemlos das Doppelte oder gar Vierfache los, vor allem bei 77 mm Filtergewinde.

Bought the wrong filter meant to buy a black pro-mist but it gets the job done for now
