i like the filter, is good and when i step on the gas the car is a little better!

Having just bought a new lens that had a filter size different to any filters I currently owned, I was interested to see this Neewer 58mm set which provides all the basic filters.Even though the set is 58mm it could be used on lenses with a smaller filter size if desired by using an adapter ring. Such rings are not expensive.The set consists of a UV filter, a CPL filter, and four neutral density filters - ND4, ND8, ND16, and ND32. What is interesting about this set is that there are two adapter rings that allow the filters to be used on GoPro cameras. Along with the two provided lens caps all the filters and adapters fit into the provided storage case.The listing states the adapters and filters are compatible with GoPro Hero models 8, 7, 6, 5. As I have a GoPro Hero 8, this was very much a case of killing two birds with one stone as the saying goes.In use the filters all screwed on to my new lens without issue. The filters are slimline and as such are a little fiddly to install but they did all fit with a little bit of effort on my part. The filters also screwed into the GoPro adapter without problem as well.I found the CPL filter to be a little stiffer than I personally like but after ten minutes turning it loosened up to where I was happy with it.I have other Neewer products, and these filters are certainly up to their usual standard. Considering you are getting six filters, two adapters, and two lens caps, for this price I would recommend the set to anyone looking for an affordable basic set

Using a 2x lens adapter and a moon filter we had a great view of the full Moon and Lunar Eclipse! This was easy to set up and just as easy to learn to use. Well, I didn't do a Polar Alignment and we just blindly pointed at the objects we wanted to see. It worked out perfectly! :) I HIGHLY recommend this scope as a beginner scope and look forward to seeing what she can do once we are not under a street light.

Just received & tested ASAP: photos taken with and without CPL filter. For my camera Canon Powershot SX40HS I strongly recommend the 52-58 step-up adapter the bayonet style not the threaded one (I purchased and tested both): It's easy and faster to install/remove. Once fixed the CPL on the 52-58 step-up adapter I'll leave them together always. This will prevent thread cuts and misalignmentsCPL usage - It makes the difference even I was expecting a little bit more cutting of the reflexions but for the money spent it's very good. Tested at 90 degres (as all indicate) vs sunlight direction and the stones are visible in the pond due to reflexions cut at water surface. As you increase the angle the more effective it is: it's doing the job! At the beginning you need a little experience till you find the max open and max closed positions (CPL ring rotation) then you play with the ring for effects. I'm looking forward to enjoy this CPL filter furthermore for better pictures.

New lens - new Breakthrough Photography filter. The raised notches on the ring allow me to easily and quickly remove this filter when seconds matter. Clear nicely multi-coated glass and 25 year unconditional guarantee that I doubt I will ever need. If you are shooting with good quality glass, this is your brand. (Expensive glass with a cheapo filter is well….silly.) Previously used high end B+W filters which are great, but I am very impressed with this brand and I like supporting a small American business.

I just received these today, within the last hour or so, so this isn't a thorough field tested review. I did however take sample shots of a door with a calendar hanging on it. I used my Canon 17mm-40mm F4 lens at 17mm. I took one shot with no filter that was at about 17.5mm since I hadn't realized that I had slightly moved the zoom ring. I then corrected that error and then took a picture with the 3 stop, then 6 stop, then 10 stop.After I was finished I looked at the images on my computer. Vignette was more apparent with each increase but I was expecting that with this lens. I should mention that to mount a 95mm filter on a 77mm lens I used a step up ring by the same manufacturer.The focus and image quality did not appear to be affected, even zoomed in at 200%. One thing I observed is that I need to slightly over expose according to my light meter in the camera to keep the resulting images from being just a tad dark.After I corrected for exposure, my error, not the filters, the images were essentially identical. I the future I will use the "Long Exposure Calculator" app.As a hobbyist I am very happy with the results.

I am not professional but maybe an "advanced amateur" and I like good but not the "best and most expensive" equipment that money can buy. The filter seems quite well made and solid. As I don't have the extensive experience of using multiple polarizing filters, I can't compare to the more expensive ones but for my needs, it works great. The only problem I have is that an adapter ring is needed to fit the filter onto my camera. As I adjust the filter, it tends to turn and screw harder into the adapter. This filter is quite thin. Maybe thin is better or maybe they are all thin. The thing is that in adjusting the filter it screws in so tight, and the filter being so thin, that I can't grasp it to remove it from the adapter ring. I just settle and leave the filter on the ring as I don't change to and use different filters anyway and I don't want to use any tool unscrew it because it would just get stuck on again even if you don't screw it in tight to begin with.

Nothing is sharp. So the Variable ND filter is pretty much useless.One major drawback of using this filter set is that the gimbal lock/camera protector can not be used due to extended filter ring size being bigger than the original filter ring. (See included photo) I wish there is an aftermarket lens cover that can work with this filter set.
