This camera takes very good quality photos and videos, but it doesn't come with a memory chip, so be sure to get one before hand! Besides that, its a very good camera for the price.

I've purchased my laptop, iPad Pro 11" (2G, Cellular), the fancy iPad Pro cover/keyboard, my laptop, and this GoPro, as open-box or refurbished. Not a single item has been defective in the slightest way and I saved hundreds of dollars so far. No reason to pay full-price for these items.Also, before settling on my current iPad Pro 11", I had other versions, all refurbished, all were just fine (no cosmetic damages or malfunctions), and again, saved a lot of money. I was able to return the items when no longer needed at no cost to me.So don't be a sucker- try buying refurbished items first and if something is wrong, Amazon and other stores have generous return policies.Anyhow, the biggest gripe I have with GoPro is their crappy desktop software. GPS signal reception by these things is incredibly weak...although when using 3rd-party apps, I can see GPS data was encoded in the video, but the GoPro software won't ever display it.The Hero 8 is much improved over the Hero 7 and earlier, but the Hero 9 isn't much more than a, "My male part is bigger than yours". Can't watch 5K video in 5K if your GPU and display don't support it, so what's the point? (yes, I said 5K, because that's what the 9 advertises, IIRC) Also, the larger the resolution, the more space you'll need on your SD card.Anyhow, that's my rant. Go away now.

If you're not used to wearing an ear-bud style headset, you may experience mild discomfort at first but, for me, I found it to be comfortable. Remember: this is for one ear - not two.I liked that I was able to simultaneously setup my laptop and phone with the device.The device worked very well; I was able to make and take calls right away, listen to music, and be heard clearly.This is especially handy off hours for me as I am recovering from a surgery and can't always hold up or prop up my phone to my ear so I leave it in my carrying pouch.

Used these to install under a step 2 whisper ride push car. Live in a very dim lit area, and love walking at dusk. Stuck these on my toddlers push car for added visual safety, and it worked really well! Really like the easy use of remote. Very bright light. Super happy with this purchase.

I wasn't expecting too much. I'd read quite a few reviews online in my search to find an inexpensive action camera. I just didn't feel comfortable shelling out several hundred dollars on something I might only use a few times a year. After reading/watching the reviews, I settled on this camera. And I've been pleasantly surprised. I've used it with an strap clip that came from an accessory pack and with a handlebar mount. It's been able to deliver very satisfactory video in each setting. The microphone is not great, so if you're vlogging or something, you may need an external one. And once you get used to the camera software, changing functions and starting the camera were easy enough. The iOS app leaves a lot to be desired if you're using it as a car camera, but it works. And you'll need the right SD card (seriously, there are cards recommended) and a computer with a slot to get your videos and pictures off. That's really my only complaint, I haven't figured out how to get the files from the camera to the computer without taking out the SD card and plugging it into the computer. Maybe if I read the manual again. I also highly recommend downloading the manual off AKASO's site, because it made getting started much easier. But overall, I've been pretty pleased with this camera. And it certainly gives quite a lot of bang for buck compared to the big name action cams.
