Incredible bargain
Great camera for an AMAZING price. I have no problems with the focus speed (maybe since I'm not shooting action?). I primarily use it with the EF 50mm f1.8 and the Fotodiox Pro adapter (100% success with this--note that the Fotodiox has the correct non-circular shape inside to prevent strange light effects). I also have the 22mm f2 and the 18-55 kit lens, but I rarely use them (especially the 18-55). The other lenses take clear photos, though the 18-55 isn't as clear as the 50mm. I also bought a yellow Ape case cube, which has been fine, so far. Color has been beautiful. I would not invest in the M3, especially with its lackluster performance with some EF lenses. Also, with this camera, the menu system is the genuine EOS menu system, which was important to me. RAW bracketing works but could be more straightforward, though I imagine that experience is identical with the entire EOS line. Battery has been fine, in my experience. I'm not shooting zillions of shots per day.I wish the wireless supported live shooting direct to your computer. In my opinion, it's silly that they hobbled it this way to differentiate it from its bigger cousins. Also, you can't connect to the device directly over WiFi with the "EOS Utility" that downloads photos from your camera. This fundamental feature would make the WiFi so much more useful. I wish they'd enable this in a firmware update, but it seems Canon isn't interested in this camera--not firmware updates as of now, and with several newer models, I doubt the trusty, excellent M2 will ever see a firmware update.

So far so good!
I recently decided to make the switch from a Canon DSLR to a Canon R mirrorless. It was easy to learn since I'm already used to Canons. I bought the EF to RF adapter (with the adjustable ring) so I could use my DSLR lenses with it. My only complaint is that Canon should give you the adapter free (they used to!) when you buy the camera. So far, it's taking good photos, and I decided to buy the kit lens that goes with the camera, so I can use it for all-around use when I'm out and about. I have a very nice Sigma macro lens that I bought at the same time, which needs the EF to RF adapter, but it takes very nice macros on this camera. I'm glad I bought it.

Perfect match for the EOS M
So you finally decided on getting the EOS M (it's flaws considered). I assume you are a canon user, have a couple of good (canon EF/EF-S mount) lens lying around and would like to be able to use those on you EOS M. Just like me, you love your canon dslr but sometimes wish you can travel light but still be able to enjoy the canon ecosystem that you have grown to love. If you are what I assume you are, get this lens adapter.I took a gamble and bought a "like-new" used from a seller at Amazon and was very happy with a purchase. For anything more than $150 I probably would think twice. But I am not taking a start out because of the price. This adapter handles every canon mount lens I threw at it. The build quality is nice. The design (the way it attaches to the eos m; the included, detachable tripod mount) is well thought of... just perfect.

Must Have
Canon EOS M Mount adapter is a must have for all Canon EOS M users if they have other Canon EF and EF-S lenses. The construction is solid and heavy. I used several Canon EF-S and EF lenses and they work fine with the adapter. Highly recommended.

Works as well as the Canon adapter
I have a Canon EF to EOS R adapter for an EOS RP camera and I bought this adapter to reduce the swapping. From what I can see it works as well as the Canon one. I tested it on a 17-40 F4L and on a Sigma 100-400 5-6.3 C and I saw no difference. So I'm very happy with it.

great for most birding
I mainly bought this lens for the 2x extender. Being old, 84, and senile, I thought, "Why, I'll just put that 2x on my Canon 300mm and I will have a 600mm lens, great for most birding. I wanted the converter more than the lens. As soon as I opened the box, i realized I was thinking incorrectly. The 2x does not fit my 300 EF Cannon Lens. But I still wanted the extender. The 2x extender for the Canon is expensive but does not work well withEF extenders from reports here at Amazon. It is designed for you guys with $11,000.00 pro lenses.I called Mike's knowing from reports here that I would get answers to my questions and good service. Eli, whose parents migrated here some time back from Syria because of the persecution of the Jews, live in Brooklyn, answered my questions. He first went over the procedures for using the new 500X lens and 2X extender. I asked him if there was a 2X extender for my 300mm EF lens that actually works. He had one in stock which is supposed to autofocus. I had him send that to me along with another memory card and some filters.I have not tried the new lens but I will perhaps this afternoon. It is manual and I don't expect to be able to use Autofocus. I don't plan to use the 2X extender in my first test but I will see how the 500X does with a bunch of Eagles that spend the winter in a tree here, living on fish scraps from the local fish processing plants. The 500mm lens is well designed and has a mount for a tripod which is advised, especially if I use the extender. You can look at my present camera birding results at [...] I have a number of cameras as you will see.I'll let you know as soon as I check this lens out. I will tell you how the 2x works with the 300mm Canon EF when that gets here next week. I'll tell you how the 2x extender that comes with the 500mm lens works out using a tripod.John T. Finally an Awesome Canon!
My experience with Canon has been with the T3i, T6, 7dmk2 and 6dmk2. Each of these cameras were good in their own ways, but were not perfect. IQ was my biggest complaint, especially in low light. The R6 definitely has better IQ than these previous cameras and performs much better under low light conditions. The eye focus feature is helpful but takes some practice to learn. The images I get with my R6 compared to my 6dmk2 are noticeably sharper and show better tones overall.I am currently using only EF lenses on my R6 thanks to Canon's brilliant adapter! All my EF lenses work flawlessly on my E6 thanks to Canon's adapter. I'm waiting for Canon to release more primes in the near future to keep my R6 kit lightweight. As for the negatives, I'm not a fan of electronic viewfinders. Nothing beats the optical viewfinders of Canon's older dslr's. Also, a top lcd display would have been nice, but it's not a dealbreaker for me.Overall, I highly recommend the R6, especially if you own multiple EF lenses (just remember to purchase the adapter).

Does what it is supposed to do
Adapter works great, it lets me attach my EF and EF-S lenses to my Canon EOS M without any issues.

Q
Will this allow my nikon 1 s1 lenses to mount to my canon t2i?
A
Dear Customer, so sorry to tell you that this adapter won't allow your nikon 1 s1 lenses to mount to my canon t2i.
Q
Can i use this on a canon d80 100 mm macro ef lens ? it says 67 mm on the lens cap but i don't see the exact answer. thank you
A
67mm should also be stenciled on the front edge of the lens somewhere. If so, then you should be good to go. It should be on the lens because a lens cap can be lost or broken.
Q
Will this mount to Olympus pen ft cameras?
A
Unfortunately this is for adapting lenses to Olympus' modern digital Micro 4/3 cameras. It won't work with the Pen FT or similar half-frame film cameras, and you most likely won't find anyone making adapters for these.
Q
Will this fit on my canon 60d? Thanks
A
FD-EOS fit for Canon FD mount lens and canon EF mount camera body. canon 60d is EF mount, so the adapter ring can work with your camera, but you need to check your lens mount. could you pls let us know your lens specific model? service(AT)kentfaith(DO NOT)com, Please note: It is not same between Canon FD mount and EF mount, this adapter ring is only for Canon FD mount lens, please contact us if you want to purchase for Canon EF mount lens.
Q
I have a Ann older canon fd 50mm 1.8 and a Sony a6000. Is this meant for that?
A
Yes the FD-NEX adapter is what you need. I also have a a6000 and a Canon FD 50mm , 28mm, and a 300mm and they all work well with this adapter.
