I've purchased my laptop, iPad Pro 11" (2G, Cellular), the fancy iPad Pro cover/keyboard, my laptop, and this GoPro, as open-box or refurbished. Not a single item has been defective in the slightest way and I saved hundreds of dollars so far. No reason to pay full-price for these items.Also, before settling on my current iPad Pro 11", I had other versions, all refurbished, all were just fine (no cosmetic damages or malfunctions), and again, saved a lot of money. I was able to return the items when no longer needed at no cost to me.So don't be a sucker- try buying refurbished items first and if something is wrong, Amazon and other stores have generous return policies.Anyhow, the biggest gripe I have with GoPro is their crappy desktop software. GPS signal reception by these things is incredibly weak...although when using 3rd-party apps, I can see GPS data was encoded in the video, but the GoPro software won't ever display it.The Hero 8 is much improved over the Hero 7 and earlier, but the Hero 9 isn't much more than a, "My male part is bigger than yours". Can't watch 5K video in 5K if your GPU and display don't support it, so what's the point? (yes, I said 5K, because that's what the 9 advertises, IIRC) Also, the larger the resolution, the more space you'll need on your SD card.Anyhow, that's my rant. Go away now.

This lens is perfect! I’m taking real estate photos to avoid having to pay a professional and this lens does the job for wide pix! Also does great for macros as well!

Got this camera as a gift and haven't stopped playing with it yet! I take it everywhere! Easy to use.

Over all I'm highly impressed with the quality and sturdiness of this camera shoulder strap . The mount plate needed a little tweaking so as to not interfere with the open /close of the battery compartment. Just a simple bend with the pliers on the opposite end of the strap connection and it was good to go. I also love the quick and easy adjustable strap length feature, and the extra safety sling strap that keeps my camera stable.

When I received the product, I loved the way it was packaged with all the accessories. I took it out in a few days to a wrestling event with various lighting examples but I was able to capture very good photos. I had a high capacity micro SD card and I set the pixel on high to capture the better shots. I had 2 charged batteries and went through one but lots of time left on the other one. Other than me moving the camera around too fast and caught blurred shots, I received many acceptable shots. I have never owned a Go-Pro even though where I work we sell them and know of their quality, for what I was wanting this camera worked out really well and didn't have to spend a lot of money. With me setting the pixel to high on the camera, I can correct any pics I want to on the computer. I think for the most I will leave them on what they are. Any negatives I might have about the camera, it makes up with the price and what I was wanting this camera for.
