So far so good!
I recently decided to make the switch from a Canon DSLR to a Canon R mirrorless. It was easy to learn since I'm already used to Canons. I bought the EF to RF adapter (with the adjustable ring) so I could use my DSLR lenses with it. My only complaint is that Canon should give you the adapter free (they used to!) when you buy the camera. So far, it's taking good photos, and I decided to buy the kit lens that goes with the camera, so I can use it for all-around use when I'm out and about. I have a very nice Sigma macro lens that I bought at the same time, which needs the EF to RF adapter, but it takes very nice macros on this camera. I'm glad I bought it.

A serious digital camera at a bargain price.
I read this comprehensive review before purchase and you should too:http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/canon-eos-m/canon-eos-mA.HTMI'm an amatuer photog for more than 40 years. Until recently, my only concession to digital photography was the purchase of inexpensive Canon point-n-shoots. As film photography has become a greater burden and digital has caught up in terms of quality while surpassing in convenience and affordability, my discovery of this little gem at a bargain price was perfect timing. Adding a $15 adapter, I can use may ancient but excellent FD mount Canon lenses - think F1 and AE-1 cameras. Auto-focus speed doesn't matter to me because I still prefer to manually set almost everything. That said, the AF performance of the EOS M seems equivalent to that of my son's Nikon 1.My purchases for my entry into serious digital photography to date include: the EOS M with Speedlite 90EX and EOS M 18-55mm IS lense: an SD card (PNY 64 GB High Speed SDXC Class 10): a spare battery (Opteka LP-E12 LPE12 2000mAh Battery Pack): a lense adapter (Fotasy Canon FD Lens to EOS M Lens); and a neck strap (OP/TECH USA System Connector Super Pro A).

Looking for a digital camera for your FD lenses ?
If you want to use your old FD lenses, this is one of the best choices. All you need is an adapter ring "Fotasy Canon FD FL Lens to Canon EOS M". The pictures turn out great, you just have to get used to the manual adjustment but there is an automatic ISO adjustment to help, if you want.

Great Lens to Have In Your Collection
Extremely pleased with this lens for video and photos. I am using a Canon RP so I have to use an adapter but I am having no issues at all.

Perfect match for the EOS M
So you finally decided on getting the EOS M (it's flaws considered). I assume you are a canon user, have a couple of good (canon EF/EF-S mount) lens lying around and would like to be able to use those on you EOS M. Just like me, you love your canon dslr but sometimes wish you can travel light but still be able to enjoy the canon ecosystem that you have grown to love. If you are what I assume you are, get this lens adapter.I took a gamble and bought a "like-new" used from a seller at Amazon and was very happy with a purchase. For anything more than $150 I probably would think twice. But I am not taking a start out because of the price. This adapter handles every canon mount lens I threw at it. The build quality is nice. The design (the way it attaches to the eos m; the included, detachable tripod mount) is well thought of... just perfect.

Best cheap 4K HDMI-out camera with NV12 HDMI caput
I own 4 of the Mokose UC40M webcams and four of the Mokose C100, two with the 6-12MM zoom lens, one with the 10-50mm, and one of the 3.2mm. The firmware has come a long way. I use them for my indie news show RSS Commentary on Rumble to pan around me with one GoPro Hero 7 Black. I have a lot of 4K Sony cameras but they are crazy expensive so I bought this because I could afford it and I needed to cover some angles. So far it's more stable than the Sony cameras. The UM40M with 3.2mm lens is a very good webcam, the lens isn't the best but when you are in the center it looks great. It's only MJPEG and you that sucks the life out of the colors. I primarily use the cameras to put myself on the left and right of the screen so the 3.2mm lens works great for me. The C100 is a lot better that the UC40M if you get a 4K HDMI capture card. You really notice the JPEG artifacting when you zoom in. I could not get the C100 to work with Elgato Cam Link, but I the camera works rock solid with the Elgato Cam Link and AVerMedia Live Streamer Cap 4K. I did not test the USB webcam. I got this for uncompressed because I use the 4K to digitally zoom.I love the colors on the camera. They match well with GoPro. They are only NV12, but they have a good pixel quality with pleasing noise. This is why you should always use uncompressed video because the MJPEG noise is ugly, especially on your face, around your teeth, your eyes, etc. I have 4K Sony Cameras and the C100 cuts well with them. This is a basically a point and shoot camera without a zoom or a screen. The interface is pretty basic, it's just some text on the video output with a primitive button menu but you can adjust the camera parameters like a normal camera. The only ISO choices are auto, 100, 200, 400, 800, and 1600 so you will need to control the lighting in the room. Auto has more in-between steps. I did not test the SD card recording quality.I like how it has a full-sized HDMI port on it. Micro HDMI is not strong enough for professional use. You can also find longer full-sized HDMI cables and for cheaper. I am using the USB power with HDMI to takeThe worst part about this camera is that there aren't a lot of good 24mm or 18mm (35mm equivalent) lens options and they are hard to search. Some of best lenses are the 12MP 1/1.7" format, there are premium ones and vintage lenses for projectors and film movie cameras. The 5mm 12MP 1/1.7" is about 24mm equivalent but has too much barrel distortion. The 6-12mm zoom lens is not sharp enough, the 10-50mm is better but too zoomed in. The best lens I've been able to find is an M12 4.35mm no distortion lens from eBay with CS-mount adapter but it only works with the C100 model with the 3.2mm model because that doesn't have the IR filter. If you want to use a lens without an IR cut filter on it then you will need to get the 6-12mm or 10-50mm option.

Nice adapter
I purchased a Canon FD to Leica M adapter in order to get some more use out of my 17mm Canon lens. I’m pretty impressed with it so far. It seems considerably better quality than the cheap imported adapters, and not as expensive as a Novoflex. The lens hooks up solid and it feels solid on the camera body. I will most likely try some of their other adapters as necessary.

Q
I have a canon ae1 camera with alot of lenses will i be able to use those lenses on my canon eos t7 camera?
A
The adapter for a EOS body to a Canon FD manual is the adapter needed. The Canon AE1 uses the FD/FL lens mount. The one I purchased works without a hitch. Mine is a K&F Concept Pro lens mount for Canon FD, FL lenses. From a F1 to a 5D Mark 4 with no issue.
Q
Will this fit on my canon 60d? Thanks
A
FD-EOS fit for Canon FD mount lens and canon EF mount camera body. canon 60d is EF mount, so the adapter ring can work with your camera, but you need to check your lens mount. could you pls let us know your lens specific model? service(AT)kentfaith(DO NOT)com, Please note: It is not same between Canon FD mount and EF mount, this adapter ring is only for Canon FD mount lens, please contact us if you want to purchase for Canon EF mount lens.
Q

Q
I have a Ann older canon fd 50mm 1.8 and a Sony a6000. Is this meant for that?
A
Yes the FD-NEX adapter is what you need. I also have a a6000 and a Canon FD 50mm , 28mm, and a 300mm and they all work well with this adapter.
Q
Could this work with a g7? Just trying to clarify.
A
If you are referring to the Panasonic DMC-G7, then yes, it will adapt any Canon FD mount lens to any micro 4/3 mount camera. Including yours.
