OK for the price, but tripod adapter self-destruct
Better than expected for the price / requires heavy duty tripod to stabilize for best image when focusing on a single point. I was surprised that they are also fairly usable when hand-held for short periods. But tripod or other solid mounting/stabilizing is a necessity for more than a minute's viewing at a time, which leads to....Problem: the included tripod adapter's knob crumbled in my hand like a cookie the first time I tried to attach it to the binoculars. Whats left is a tiny metal stud that cant be tightened by hand, and the location makes it nearly impossible to fit a small wrench or pliers on it to continue using it with the binoculars. I filled out a help ticket on Celestron's website 5 days ago and got an immediate robo-reply acknowledging my request for a replacement adapter, but the company has not contacted me yet with a response as to whether or not they will ship me a new (free) adapter like they should, nor replied to my follow-up email request. If they don't get back to me in a few days, I will send it back to Amazon and lower my rating accordingly. NOT a good impression of the company's customer service...I wouldn't want to take a chance on any of their more expensive products.Update: Celestron shipped me a replacement tripod adapter that arrived today and did not self-destruct when I attached it to the binoculars. They could have been a little faster with that, but they did come thru. As a result -and based primarily on the low price- I am raising my rating to 4 starts from 3.

I freaking love this scope
I freaking love this scope! I added the Celestron 2x barlow adapter with the 20mm eyepiece and WOW! For wildlife watching this scope rocks. The Tripod however is junk, am ordering the Celestron Azimuth Tripod to replace it.

Useful for connecting between T adapter by Celestr
Useful for connecting between T adapter by Celestron 93633-A , which screws into telescope and and this adapter into Canon camera body. To fit properly the lens release button must be pressed, then let go of once flange sits in place.

It is a good product for the price
I purchased this product because I needed a taller ring light. I am 5 ft 3, and it is a perfect height for me and I can raise it even higher. I also like that it can be condensed to use it on a table. I need to post pictures and videos online for my job. I was looking for a ring light in this price range. I have another one from this company that is shorter that I use on my desk, so I thought I would try this larger one. The ring light was easy to assemble, and it is very light weight. The light it produces is fine for what I need it for. The diameter of this ring light is smaller than some of the more expensive products sold, so keep that in mind. I appreciated that the power source is an AC adapter, as opposed to a USB port so I could easily move it from room to room. I also find the Bluetooth remote control really handy. I wish that this product came with a carrying case. I am giving the 4 star rating because I would have like it if the phone adapter was a slide in one, and not a screw in one. Overall, I am quite pleased with this product.

Q
Looking to fit a Nikkor 55mm 3.5 ain’t lens on to my canon 80d is this possible with this adapter?
A
hello, The Nikon-EOS adapter ring fit for nikon AI mount lens and canon EF camera. so the adapter ring fit for your Nikkor 55mm 3.5 ain’t lens on to canon 80d
Q
Am I supposed to use an adapter to attach to a Nikon camera? If so, can you suggest an adapter?
A
No the other way this is to be able to mount the Nikon lenses onto the micro 4/3 camera body
Q
What is the difference between Nikon G and Nikon AI
A
Firstly, let's talk whether you need Nikon AI adapter ring or Nikon G adapter ring.
If your lens mount is AI, please choose AI one, if it is G please choose G one, there difference between them is G adapter ring with a aperture control ring.
If you want to use Nikon AI lens on this Nikon(G) adapter ring, it could be attached, but the aperture control ring could not be used,as there is a pin on Nikon G lens that could move the aperture control ring but no on AI lens.
So why have a separate adapter for the lenses with the 'G' designation? While the G lenses are the still the same physical F mount, the G indicator means there is no aperture dial on the lens itself. So while the G lenses will physically fit the standard F mount cameras and adapters, there is no way at all to change the f-stop on the lens. The adapters marked as Nikon G Mount are specifically made for those lenses in mind and have a dial built into them that allows you to control the lens iris from the adapter!
so here let's discuss the 4 items
KF06.068 AI mount, aluminum material
KF06.286 AI mount, with 1/4 Female thread screw for mounting onto the tripod
KF06.309 Ai mount, cooper material
KF06.070 G mount, aluminum material

Q
Some questions about the aperture
A
  1. please judge whether your lens could adjust the aperture there is only Nikon(G),also called AI(G) adapter ring has the aperture control ring, and is only for Nikon G lens,
If you want to use nikon AI lens on this Nikon(G) adapter ring, it could be attached, but the aperture control ring could not be used as
there is a pin on Nikon G lens that could move the aperture control ring but no on AI lens.
  2. Some buyer mentioned could not adjust the aperture, actually this is because your lens does not have the aperture control function, If your lens does not have a manual aperture control ring, it will stop down to its smallest f/stop by default
  3. Since there is no electronic contacted on our adapter ring, so could not transfer the aperture number to camera.

Q
Is this only for g lens or will it work with d and ai-s lens?
A
It will work with all nikon lenses. The ai-s and D lenses are easiest as you can set the adapter to the largest aperature and then use the aperature ring on the lens to fine tune. With the G lensyou have rudimentary control over aperature with the adapter. Think there are only 4 or 5 settings on the adapter.
