I use an older but high-end Canon DSLR to take Nature and Wildlife photos on hikes. The camera is so old that it won’t back the CF card up to my iPad using a Canon USB cable and the Apple camera adapter for iOS. My workaround was to back up the CF card using a separate newer Canon camera and the same cable and adapter. I didn’t think this inexpensive DenicMic card reader would work, but the price was so cheap, I couldn’t resist giving it a try. Well, it works perfectly and the backup is speedy. Now I leave the iPad at home and back the images up to my phone. I can edit and share images immediately from wherever I’m taking images. (I haven’t had the card reader long enough to give a durability rating, but I wanted to give 5 stars because I’m pleased with the product)

I won't make this review lengthy, because it's all been said before, but I will qualify myself by saying that I depend on photography for approximately half of my income, and I recently purchased this lens after many hours of online research. I own a Canon 7D, and I was looking for a lens that would fall into the wide/portrait range with the 7D's 1.6x crop factor. This lens was bought as a replacement for my old Tamron 28-75, which was a respectable lens. The Canon 17-40 has thus far been a very solidly built, light, fast-functioning lens. It autofocuses VERY quietly with its ultrasonic motor, and the autofocus is very accurate. On the 7D, I have found it to be a capable portrait lens at 40mm, as well as a great lens for interiors. I bought it as a complement to the Canon 70-200L, for a lightweight kit, and while I am missing the 41-69 focal range, I haven't really needed it. The lens produces VERY SHARP photos, and is much more reliable in quality than the Tamron. I would definitely recommend it to 7D users wanting a versatile walkaround lens, or to full frame users looking for an ultrawide with great sharpness.

I purchased DenicMic SD CF card reader to take along on my vacation. I have a nice DSLR camera that I like to take photos on because of the quality, as well as my iPhone. But I didn't like the confusion as to where a particular photo was; on my CF card or on my iPhone. Now I can transfer the DSLR photos I take each day of my trip and have them all appear on my iPhone. Very easy to use. The only downfall I find is that in order to make a good connection, you have to take off your phone case. It's not difficult but I fear taking the phone case off and on numerous times will weaken or break it. Other than that, I think this is a great product!

I had purchased one similar to this, however it was for a SD card and it worked great. I had purchased a CF to SD adapter, love it, however it gets a little tiring always taking it out, then taking out the SD card for transfer into the iPhone/iPad. I’m not complaining. I was hoping that in the immediate future someone could integrate the CF/SD/ TF 3 in 1 Memory Card Camera Reader reader . The future and the pace of technology came quick. I purchased it, tried it and love it. Thank you. Highly recommend it.

I bought this used through Amazon. It sees duty on a 5D Mk III and 7D Canon. I like it!

I love this extender, my 200 becomes a 400....and on my canon 7d, it becomes a 560! Quality is excellent, however you need a lot of light, best for shooting outdoors.

Yes I am old school, I shoot with an older dslr that uses cf cards. I have a 10.5 iPad Pro to edit at events. Couldn’t find an official apple product for this, no problem because I found this. When you connect reader nothing happens, insert cf card and boom! It just works. Speed is just ok with large raw files, jpegs are quicker to transfer.Ok, only issue and it appears to be the apple os is for those shooting raw plus jpeg. If you shoot both, only jpeg will read and transfer. So you must shoot Raw only if you want to transfer raw files. Other tip, like most cf readers the slot is shallow so care must be taken when you insert card make sure you are inserting correctly and gently or you will bend the pins. A deeper slot and this reader is just about perfect. Looks nice and clean like something apple would put out.I have not tested the sd or micro sd slot.

 This cf card reader is well-made and fast-speed without any setup. I have many similar products which can not work very well. They all have the problem of disconnection or low speed in connecting. What is worse is that they may break down after several weeks. I use the 64 GB cf card and this product perform very well in every aspect.
