At first, I was skeptical about this filter because someone said this filter is not adjustable. That person is wrong. It is Adjustable.The filter quality is great. You can do the monitor test (i.e., 1) hold it in front of your eyes (directly, not through the camera), 2) look through it towards a brightly lit monitor, 3) rotate the CPL and you will see that the monitor will turn black and won't let light pass through.Some people said they had trouble un-attaching it from the lens because the CPL filter spins instead. In that case, slightly pull it upwards while trying to un-attach. Also, don't attach it too tight with the lens.Good luck!

The Greystone CPL Filter by Haida is definitely well-made. The threading is smooth. There is knurling at the outer edge of the rotating ring and above the threading. I threaded this filter onto my UV filter, then removed the UV and threaded it directly onto my lens. Both times I struggled to remove the filter because it's ultra slim and the knurling is tricky to grasp.The filter performed perfectly in an LED screen test. My test photos were of the sun glaring off a pool surface. With the filter, I was able to step down a full stop, reduce the glare and capture much more detail of leaves on the bottom of the pool (winter time!). The lighter photo with the sun glare is without the CPL filter and was shot at f/8.This is a great value for a high quality filter.

The Zeikos filters are good beginners and Professionals a like. I say starter kit because it may not be the best kit, but for those starting out trying to break into professional photography and don't have 60-100 dollars to spend the best of the best filters, this is a great starting off point. It comes with a UV Filter, CPL, and the Florescent Light Filter.I use this for video and I really creates a great image. The CPL gives me that gradient in the sky and I like, and the UV filter takes that haze out when shooting out doors, and servies and a great protector for the lens and CPL filter. Though shooting Digitally on a Canon 60D I can adjust the color when shooting indoors in Florescent lighting, so I didn't see the purpose of the FLD filter (the magenta filter), though if you are a photographer who still shoots with film, the FLD filter can come in handy for that occasion.Good starter kit, for beginners who are learning how to shoot with filters.

Faultless!The Neutral Density (ND) filters are wonderful and they do stop the light hitting the sensors no problem.The other filters are perfect too but normally you don't need a UV filter on a digital camera but I use it just to protect the lens.The other filters will them screw onto the UV filter but don't screw too tight.The polarised filter does have a revolving rim "GASP" and is ideal. I didn't realise it had a revolving rim until I actually used it and screwed it on.I can tell you now that anyone giving these filters and less than 5 stars are bonkers because these are superb.The wallets they came in are and look really well made as does the filters. The rubber lens shade is really good too and will push flat to allow it to fit in your case. I have no use for the plastic screw on shade so that will be used for something when I have my thinking head on.The lens cap is a good one and comes with a lanyard but I will not use the lanyard as I do not want it dangling from the camera.I would recommend these to anyone who want cheap but quality lenses.

Nothing is sharp. So the Variable ND filter is pretty much useless.One major drawback of using this filter set is that the gimbal lock/camera protector can not be used due to extended filter ring size being bigger than the original filter ring. (See included photo) I wish there is an aftermarket lens cover that can work with this filter set.

I do not use these for the UV filter but as a good quality, low cost lens protector. That said:My 1st Tiffen was a 55mm UV Protector I got for the kit lens that came with a Sony a7ii; an FE 28-70. I was so happy with the purchase that I have since purchased three additional Tiffen UV Protection Filters. One is on a Sony E 55-210 I bought used and one is on a Samyang 35mm I bought new. The one I am writing this review for I assume is still on the Sony FE 50mm I bought new but returned and forgot to remove the filter.The point? I treat my lenses, new or used, like I treat a cell phone. That being the phone stays in the box until I have a protective case for them and lenses stay in the box until I have a protective filter to pair them with. And the one I forgot to remove from the returned lens? That is how confident in the Tiffen filters I am. Once I put one on a lens, I never need to think about it again.I have used several brands in several sizes ranging from the cheaper Altura and Polaroid to the mid range Hoya and B & W.Where does Tiffen fit? Well they are no Hoya or B & W but I am no professional photographer. I am an amateur who mostly enjoys street photography when I travel and for my money Tiffen is the best. Yes, you can spend more and get better glass and if you really have reason to worry about ghosting you should look for a higher end lens. That isn't me saying ghosting has been a problem for me. I normally use a lens hood and I think that helps cut down on light reflection. I have noticed some minor issues with it on some shots I have taken in direct bright light conditions but not enough to justify the higher price.I do not stack filters as I haven't had a need to so I can not give an opinion on that topic. I would assume that the risk of ghosting would increase.The short version is this. The Tiffen UV Protection Filter is well made with good quality glass and a metal ring with threading I do not worry will cross thread or strip. They do what I need by protecting my lens. If I was buying a ND or polarizers I might buy a more costly brand but for everyday protection, Tiffen is all I need and the best for my money.Tiffen say it best in their own product description; A small price to pay to protect your investment.

Was in the market for a UV filter for my Canon Rebel T100 when I found this bundle. I had usually just shot without any filters so this was my first time getting to play around with a CPL filter (now that I have, I don't think I'll be going back). Simply put, it gets the job done. It's easy to put on and easy to use. I've since bought a CPL filter made by Tiffen for my Nikon FM and find this one to be far better by a long shot.If you're looking for something cheap that gets the job done, this is the one to go with.

This filter is great. I've used other CPL filters and there always seemed to be quirks about them, whether it be sticky rotations, hard to mount or un-mount on the lens, or coloration of the image. This filter had none of those issues. It goes on easily and with a positive feeling that you have some comfort it won't fall off while you're shooting, which has happened to me before, and it operates smoothly from behind the viewfinder. I have found no coloration from this filter at all, just the elimination of glare and deepening of colors where it's supposed to do so. The ring itself is nicely dimpled so that you can easily feel where to grab and turn without looking.This filter is light but feels very strong in construction, made to be used over and over for years, and it is thin enough that I had this and a matching ND filter stacked on a 16mm lens without any vignetting. I am totally satisfied with this filter and enthusiastically recommend it to anyone that needs a CPL, or needs to upgrade from what they already have.
