10 pounds of fun and utility in a 5 pound bag
A DJI Phantom 4 has been by go to vehicle for a number of years. Unfortunately two of it's three batteries recently died. My plan was to simply obtain replacements. Upon seeing a Mini 2 would cost about the same price, I ultimately chose to purchase the new system instead. This turned out to be an excellent decision. Performance has been on par with my Phantom. Flight characteristics all appear comparable. My use cases do not approach advertised maximum range, but no connection issues have been experienced so far. Times aloft also seem equivalent.Portability is the best improvement to my eye. I purchased a Fly More Combo for the extra batteries and case. Everything can be stored together and is easy to just pickup when heading out the door. Lugging my Phantom always felt like toting around a carry-on suitcase. The Mini 2 system fits inside an empty space in my camera bag.Granted, the Mini 2 camera does not perform quite as well as a Phantom. Especially under low light conditions or wide dynamic range. However I really only notice the difference viewing raw footage side-by-side. I have not hesitation including aerial shots from the Mini 2 in my videos.Ground clearance can be a concern. The propellers are so low they will hit vegetation if not flying from a paved surface. I bought a folding landing pad to use in those situations. Works great and aiming for a target while landing is actually fun.Overall I am extremely happy with the DJI Mini 2. Super fun to just fly around, and produces beautiful video when asked.

DJI Mavic Mini 2 and Fly more Combo
The Mavic Mini 2 beats out it's big Phantom 3 brothers. The supplied shoulder bag lacked enough space and stability when accessing the equipment. ProsMore stable than the DJI Phantom 3 Standard and Professional versions.Ocusync provides more stable video connection than WiFi as used on the DJI Phantom 3 Standard and Professional drones. The mobile device holder is located on top of the controller and provides better viewing and access to the on screen controls.Side and rear controls are ergonomically located making them easier to find and use.The realistic flight time of more than 25 minutes, and also helps with flight planning. The Two Way charging hub allows for SEQUENTIALLY charging up to three flight batteries one at a time, and can be used to charge the mobile device in an emergency. ConsReplaced the soft sided shoulder bag with a hard case. I did not like the shoulder bag for everyday use but will keep it for "covert" traveling.Realistic flight time is not as much as DJI's claim of 31 minutes. In actual practice plan flights for 15 to 20 minutes and you will not be surprised with a Low-Battery alert. The battery is a bit difficult to remove from the Mavic Mini 2.The Two-Way charging hub ONLY charges one battery at a time! If the batteries are very low expect up to 90 minutes for each battery , that is can be over 4 hours for all three batteries! Using the Mavic Mini 2 drone for charging is NOT an option!

Wonderful customer service
This will be my second drone from DJI the first one being a phantom 4. I was quite happy with how quickly they got the drone shipped out to me. Unfortunately when I open the package the spare props that were advertised to be in the kit we’re not there. I contacted their customer support and Kathleen was able to get it sorted out and get the props out to me in no time. More than happy to continue doing business with them. Thank you DJI team and thank you Kathleen

Excellent ND filters for the DJI Mavic 3 Classic.
I was excited to see this set of ND filters from K&F Concept. K&F is a very good company with a great reputation for high quality photo products, especially lenses and filters. The question of whether or not to get ND filters for a drone should be a non-issue. Without any trees and buildings filtering out some of the direct sunlight, you really need ND filters in order to get a good exposure. I think the 4 filter set that K&F put together here is a perfect beginning set; ND8 (3 stops), ND16 (4 stops), ND32 (5 stops), and ND64 (6 stops). Depending on your use and where you live, you may want to get higher and/or lower stops. I certainly plan on getting some more.In my area, it seems I have either water, snow or clouds that want to wash out my videos and photos. Even when it is overcast, which is frequent, I need something to get the details out of the sky. After many days of uncooperative weather, I was finally able to get some sample photos for my review. I tried to get photos of the sky without a filter and then with each of the 4 ND filters. But, I can't guarantee they will appear in the correct order that I uploaded them. So it may be impossible to determine which photo has which filter. Sorry...My only complaint and the reason for my review score, is they were an absolute pain to put on. It seems like the tabs that are supposed to fit into the locking slot is larger on these filters than the original manufacture's lens shield. When I looked at them side by side they appear minutely larger. As I tried putting them on, I thought I was going to damage the DJI lens housing, break a tab, or bend the slot it is supposed to fit into. The original DJI lens housing fits on snugly, but securely. These just fit on terribly hard. I think DJI is partly to blame. It seems like it would be easier for them to make the lenses so 3rd parties could make accessories that fit easier and securely (i.e., round threaded filter instead of square). In spite of that, these filters are very well made of high quality glass and materials, which is the most important thing for a lens filter. As the description says they are very light, nanometer coated, anti-glare, and waterproof and dust-proof. These will certainly be used a lot and I hope to see K&F adopt more of their lenses for the DJI Mavic 3 Classic. Please, just make the filters easier to put on. ;-)

Works well
It's great with smartphones, I use it with a variable and filter and it's ok. Clamp is strong. It uses 37mm threads so I tried it on my old Canon vixia, ruins the image. Though if you take the wide angle without the macro portion the image is quite nice. But you can't zoom and af is pretty much gone. So don't use it for camcorders, clearly it's just for fixed lens.

Good
The thread is not the same, connect with 37mm lens, but another side, seems could connect 43mm accessories, i am not sure.Yes, it has the cross/X pattern near the maximum settings, but so does every single variable ND filter made.

Everything was good until the camera was out of fo
I really wanted to get away from my normal action camera brand and I have purchased several DJI drones so I was thinking this was a good fit for me. The battery is awesome the audio even in wind was very good, but it has a soft focus or actually out of focus lens. This is a fixed lens camera so unless DJI can take the camera back to the factory and adjust the lens to put it in focus, absolutely no software is going to fix this issue.

Q
I have a rf camera m2 and some nikon ai lens. if i use this adapter to connect both, can we see the focus frame “overlap” in the viewfinder?
A
Dear Customer, this adapter isn't suitable for your lens and camera.
Q
Does the autofocus work with the Nikon lens on the Canon camera?
A
This adapter is non-electronic and so will not enable electronic communication between lens and camera, so no autofocus.
Q
I have a nikon d3100 camera and need an adapter to fit a minolta 75-300 lens. does this adapter do that are can you direct me to one that would?
A
K&F have a list of which adapter will work for each lens to camera combination they support
Q
Why camera indicated “lens is not properly installed”?
A

If your camera indicated "lens is not properly installed", please modify the camera menu settings. Usually called the "release the shutter the lens is not installed", you can modify the settings to allow. Specifically refer to the camera manual.Following are some examples:

  1. MFT(M4/3 mount camera)'Lens Not Found' - Warning Message Appears
    For Panasonic Lumix:
The camera needs to be set to function without a MFT-Mount lens attached. You can do this by changing the following camera setting:
    'Menu' -> 'Custom Menu 5' -> 'Shoot W/O Lens' -> 'On'
(Exact naming and location of this option may change depending on camera model)
  2. Fujifilm X mount camera, The camera needs to be set to function without a GFX-Mount lens attached. You can do this by changing the following camera setting:
'MENU' -> 'SETUP' -> 'BUTTON/DIAL SETTING' -> 'SHOOT WITHOUT LENS' -> 'ON' (Exact naming and location of this option may change depending on camera model) Choose ON to enable the shutter release when no lens is attached.
  3. Sony E mount camera, 'No Lens Attached' - Warning Message Appears
The camera needs to be set to function without a E-Mount lens attached. You can do this by changing the following camera setting:'Menu' -> 'Setup' -> 'Release w/o Lens' -> 'Enable'
(Exact naming and location of this option may change depending on camera model)
  4. Nikon 1-Series mirrorless camera , 'Check lens. Pictures can only be taken when a lens is attached' - Warning Message Appears
With a Nikon 1-Series camera (such as the J2), you will need to make sure the camera is in 'Manual' exposure or shooting mode and the focus selection is also set to manual. When in any other mode the camera tries to take control of the lens which is not possible as the adapter does not have any contact with the camera circuitry, so you get the lens check warning as the camera does not think there is a lens attached.
  5. 'EOS M mirrorless camera ,'No Lens Attached' - Warning Message Appears
The camera needs to be set to function without a EF-M Mount lens attached. You can do this by changing the following camera setting:
'Menu' -> 'Custom Menu' -> 'Custom Function 7' -> Select 'Release shutter w/o lens'
(Exact naming and location of this option may change depending on camera model)
  6. Konica Minolta:
For Konica Minolta and "No Lens Attached"
    Custom Menu 3
    First item "Shutter Lock"
Set it to "Off: no lens"
(Depending on camera model "Shutter Lock" May be in different menu location)
  7. 'Samsung NX 'No lens.' - Warning Message Appears
The adapter is designed to trigger a sensor inside the camera body itself so no setting needs to be changed. If the error message is coming up with one of our adapters attached, then it is possible that the adapter is not hitting that sensor the way that it should. Usually rotating the adapter slightly in the mount, or un-mounting and remounting the adapter clears the problem with no further action needed. If that doesn't solve the problem, then the best course of action would be to swap out the adapter you have with a replacement.

Q
Outside converts to 43mm accessories? Nope, didn't work. Anyone find the outside thread size?
A
hell 37mm ND need 40.5 mm outside thread
