Great lens, mine just came today and I didn't have any shoots planned so I tested it on my son. I shot on Nikon for about 3yrs and recently purchased a Canon 70d with the 50mm being my first lens (other than the kit lens 18-55mm). I'm use to shooting with a Nikon 50mm and so far the Canon looks up to par. Great build quality and bokeh, and good depth of field. Probably get the 24mm next. I'm still new to the 70d and so I still have a few settings to learn but I'll update once I use it for an actual photo shoot.

I bought the Canon 70D body (with no lens) then bought this lens as my "kit" lens. I have now had this lens for a month. If you do your research and know what you want from a lens (like this one), you will get what you want. Is the a perfect lens? No. Am I surprised about this considering it is bargain priced? No.

Not much to say here, this device allows you to mount an EF lens onto your EOS-M camera, and appears to be well built. Done.

I replaced my 70D AND 5D3 with the EOS R and I wouldn’t go back! I got out of the pro scene, and wanted something easy to use for around the house and occasional documentary shoots. I replaced every lens I had with the RF 35 macro, and the combo is perfect. The light combo is so easy! The back button focus button took a little to get used to, but the eye autofocus is life changing for a portrait photographer.

So you finally decided on getting the EOS M (it's flaws considered). I assume you are a canon user, have a couple of good (canon EF/EF-S mount) lens lying around and would like to be able to use those on you EOS M. Just like me, you love your canon dslr but sometimes wish you can travel light but still be able to enjoy the canon ecosystem that you have grown to love. If you are what I assume you are, get this lens adapter.I took a gamble and bought a "like-new" used from a seller at Amazon and was very happy with a purchase. For anything more than $150 I probably would think twice. But I am not taking a start out because of the price. This adapter handles every canon mount lens I threw at it. The build quality is nice. The design (the way it attaches to the eos m; the included, detachable tripod mount) is well thought of... just perfect.

The ease of connecting the strap to the camera and in using it has been great! I am using the strap on a Canon 70D and have even used the strap with my 70-200mm luxury lens which has some weight to it. The strap worked even better with my lighter weight lens (zoom and primes). Great product for the price. I will watch it for durability as I will use it most days when shooting.

I've really enjoyed using this 50mm with my EOS 70D. A very fast lens with tremendous versatility. Because the APS-C sensor it is designed for has a crop factor, the 50mm shoots a little tighter than I intended when I purchased it, but that is not the fault of the lens. The lens is light, compact, simple, inexpensive, and takes great photos. Shipping was fast and I would give a 5-star rating were it not for the fact that the rear element was smudged when I removed it from the box. I'm not sure how that could happen unless the lens had been removed from the box at some point before it was shipped.
