Much nicer than I even expected!
This product so far is amazing. The weight of the lenses really shows they're good quality. The lanyard, LED light, cleaning cloth, carrier case and the included video instructions are just so incredibly convenient. Not to mention it comes with a lifetime warranty. Would 100% recommend.

Prefer this over the Sure SM58 which costs 4-5x mo
This is one of the best bargains in live sound equipment. I actually prefer these over the Sure SM58 as I feel the XM8500 has a more articulate sound for vocals with more pronounced mid-highs so the vocals come out of a mix better, yet it is not harsh sounding. Just a very good live vocal mic at very low price point.

Yes, just as any filter I have, they all accept manufacturers and after markets caps and more can be threaded on in front and behind. No loose band. Well built.

Please note: our M42 adapter ring could not be suitable for Pentax Takumar Super Takumar Carl Zeiss M42 series（aperture pin does not fully depress, small tabs sticking out), as ours depresses the aperture pin all the way down

Just consider that, precisely because there are no electronics in between, the autofocus won't work. You will have to go manually
