Fits our Fujifilm (FinePix AX655 - 16 Megapixel Digital Camera with 5x Optical Zoom) perfectly and has a lot of padding, which will definitely protect if the camera is dropped.

FIRST DSLR - COMING FROM POINT & SHOOT & SMARTPHON
This is my first DSLR. My photography needs are just wanting to shoot quality pictures of my family in everyday life, holidays, & special events like graduation. My experience with digital photography over the past 10 years is Fuji Finepix A200, GE A730, 2 Sony Cybershots (not sure of the models), Fuji Finepix F900EXR, Fuji S8200, Samsung Galaxy S II, & Samsung Galaxy Note II (yes the latter two are not technically cameras but since many use their smartphones for point & shoots I will include them).I wish I would've made the move to dslr sooner. This is only an entry-level & the image quality compared to point & shoots is amazing.Autofocus using the viewfinder is immediate (if looking for this on a p&s check out the Fuji Finepix F900EXR). Using the LCD screen, autofocus is slower, but I am beginning to understand the benefits of the viewfinder. I can definitely see the benefits of manual focus but not very good at it yet. I'll keep practicing.Colors turn out true to what I see with my eye. There is a lot of detail in each image. Possibly the term for the images I'm getting is "true to life".Images are noise free, atleast to my untrained eye. My main problem with newer p&s cameras is the level of noise & grain in the pictures. I think it has something to do with the high megapixels crammed into a tiny sensor, b/c my first digital camera did not produce that much noise, & it was only 3 megapixels (Fuji Finepix A200). The sensor was even slightly smaller at 1/2.7" compared to the typical 1/2.3" sensor in most p&s today.I am only using full auto mode right now, but I am slowly reading through the entire manual to hopefully learn some things to take even better pictures. But if the pictures never get any better than they are in full auto mode, I will still be pleased having this level of image quality to preserve family memories.I was concerned about not taking as many pictures, b/c it would require toting a large camera around, & I am used to the convenience of p&s and smartphones. But I bought the smallest bag that would fit my dslr with lens attached. It also holds the charger & usb cord, but that's not necessary. I carry the bag on my shoulder along with my purse, so it's not a problem.I was also concerned about the issue I hear about dust on the sensor. But for now, I'm using the lens that came with the camera & don't plan on changing lenses in the near future (although the Tamron 18-270mm looks interesting & seems it would give the zoom flexibility you get w/point & shoots w/o changing lenses), so I keep the lens attached. From what I understand, this should minimize dust entry into the camera. *Experienced DSLR users, correct me if I'm wrong.*Video was not a must, but I do like having all-in-one for photo & video. It's 720p instead of 1080p. It does not have continual autofocus. I took a short test home video, & this did not seem to be a problem for home videos. I'm not sure about recording a child's school program or something like that.It looks like the Nikon D3100 might be the better entry-level option, atleast looking at specs. It has the auto sensor dust cleaning, 1080p video, & full time video autofocus. It's slightly more expensive, and this Canon was really the most I could spend on a camera.I'm sure I have a lot to learn, but coming from a point & shoot, you will not be dissapointed, if for no other reason than image quality.

Much needed QoL
There’s not much you can say about the adapter. I mean it works so what else would you expect? Well, it is well constructed and makes a nice click when installing your lens. I read some of the reviews on the cheaper alternatives and saw reviews mentioning the product feels cheap and how the lens are not firmly and securely attached. I rather not risk it but others have without issues. If you’re on a budget, do look at the cheaper alternative. If you can afford it then this is the one you want.

Adapter works fine
The adapter is good, delivery was also very fast, i got it just in 1 day.. But if you really wanna use EF or EF-S lens in mirrorless cameras, you have to keep in mind that the sharpness will decrease by a little amount and you you have to focus the subject very correctly, otherwise the picture will become blurry(specially for the prime lens)..

Case Logic DCB-302 Compact Case for Camera -
Perfect fit for my new Fujifilm FinePix AX650 16MP Digital Camera with 2.7-Inch LCD (Black). And I like the long strap for hanging around my neck. There's plenty of padding and space for an extra memory card.

Secure & Great Quality
Love this product. I use it together with the Pro Pad v2 for comfort - to hold my Fujifilm X3 with any lens (I have the kit lens and zoom 200 mm). I like my hands free when I'm walking. Feels great and very secure on the front of my belt. Clip on and clip off is simple and efficient. Plate on camera body is solid. Only minor scuffing on black paint. As expected Peak Design offers great products. Highly recommended.

Great for lens protection.
I use this for my Fujifilm X100T to protect the actual lens. Works great and keeps me from worrying about the actual camera lens getting scratched.

Q
I have a nikon d3100 camera and need an adapter to fit a minolta 75-300 lens. does this adapter do that are can you direct me to one that would?
A
K&F have a list of which adapter will work for each lens to camera combination they support
Q
Why camera indicated “lens is not properly installed”?
A

If your camera indicated "lens is not properly installed", please modify the camera menu settings. Usually called the "release the shutter the lens is not installed", you can modify the settings to allow. Specifically refer to the camera manual.Following are some examples:

  1. MFT(M4/3 mount camera)'Lens Not Found' - Warning Message Appears
    For Panasonic Lumix:
The camera needs to be set to function without a MFT-Mount lens attached. You can do this by changing the following camera setting:
    'Menu' -> 'Custom Menu 5' -> 'Shoot W/O Lens' -> 'On'
(Exact naming and location of this option may change depending on camera model)
  2. Fujifilm X mount camera, The camera needs to be set to function without a GFX-Mount lens attached. You can do this by changing the following camera setting:
'MENU' -> 'SETUP' -> 'BUTTON/DIAL SETTING' -> 'SHOOT WITHOUT LENS' -> 'ON' (Exact naming and location of this option may change depending on camera model) Choose ON to enable the shutter release when no lens is attached.
  3. Sony E mount camera, 'No Lens Attached' - Warning Message Appears
The camera needs to be set to function without a E-Mount lens attached. You can do this by changing the following camera setting:'Menu' -> 'Setup' -> 'Release w/o Lens' -> 'Enable'
(Exact naming and location of this option may change depending on camera model)
  4. Nikon 1-Series mirrorless camera , 'Check lens. Pictures can only be taken when a lens is attached' - Warning Message Appears
With a Nikon 1-Series camera (such as the J2), you will need to make sure the camera is in 'Manual' exposure or shooting mode and the focus selection is also set to manual. When in any other mode the camera tries to take control of the lens which is not possible as the adapter does not have any contact with the camera circuitry, so you get the lens check warning as the camera does not think there is a lens attached.
  5. 'EOS M mirrorless camera ,'No Lens Attached' - Warning Message Appears
The camera needs to be set to function without a EF-M Mount lens attached. You can do this by changing the following camera setting:
'Menu' -> 'Custom Menu' -> 'Custom Function 7' -> Select 'Release shutter w/o lens'
(Exact naming and location of this option may change depending on camera model)
  6. Konica Minolta:
For Konica Minolta and "No Lens Attached"
    Custom Menu 3
    First item "Shutter Lock"
Set it to "Off: no lens"
(Depending on camera model "Shutter Lock" May be in different menu location)
  7. 'Samsung NX 'No lens.' - Warning Message Appears
The adapter is designed to trigger a sensor inside the camera body itself so no setting needs to be changed. If the error message is coming up with one of our adapters attached, then it is possible that the adapter is not hitting that sensor the way that it should. Usually rotating the adapter slightly in the mount, or un-mounting and remounting the adapter clears the problem with no further action needed. If that doesn't solve the problem, then the best course of action would be to swap out the adapter you have with a replacement.
