I bought this product for my father who is in his late 50s. My mother is an Operating Room nurse who worked with a patient using this similar device. She thought to give this device a try with my father who is legally deaf. I did buy it here through amazon...it was sent to my father...and my father tried it. I am glad to say it works very well! My dad says he can hear the bird chirping when he is outdoors to my mother and aunty's conversation. I am happy with this product.

I got the Pro 50s to play guitar and edrums. I was pretty skeptical about them, but they're pretty amazing headphones for the money. I've been using a set of Sennheiser RS120 wireless RF headphones to play guitar for years and the clarity from those to these are night and day! The included cables are pretty short and don't offer much room, especially when plugged into the back of a guitar amplifier, but they're standard 1/4 and 1/8 connections, so longer cables can be used. They look pretty goofy while on my head, but the sound and clarity is worth it. Even listening to music with these is a treat.
