Good quality for the price
I have been using this filter primarily to get rid of glare in my webcam setup so my requirements may not be as stringent as for more classical applications. Compared to a Nikon filter I have (of a different size, for a different lens), the polarization effect is a bit lower on the Tiffen, and it also lets through more light. Contrary to some comparisons I've seen online though, the Tiffen for me produces a warmer picture than the Nikon.

Does the Gopro with the filter still fit in the protective housing

Hello! There is more than one protective case on the market... However, I'll try an answer: to mount the filter, the original GoPro protective screen must be removed. The filter is installed instead of this protective screen. Since the plastic protective caps of the original screen also fit the filter, assume that the filter and protective housing do not interfere.

Can I use the gopro body with it? So the waterproof housing? Because the film on the display is a bit thicker

After you put the hardened film on the GoPro body, your camera can be placed in the waterproof case.
