Was a bit skeptical about the quality, but once I'd turned it on, was very impressed. Testing indoors was tough because the minimum zoom is 7x, and at first I forgot to remove the IR filter so it was very dark, but once I removed the IR filter, the image quality is excellent. The little LCD is clear and bright (I use it on 2/10). I also bought the torch attachment as I use an external IR lamp, and the batteries seem to last well. Overall, VERY impressed. Also can attach to GoPro headmount for goggle-style, but they are heavy. Build quality is excellent, buttons are easy to use. Love this Nightfox product

The laser is nice and strong but you have to be careful when you use it. The laser uses infrared light without a IR filter. Try not to shine it on your skin for too long and definitely don’t shine it in the eyes of anything. Infrared lighting could cause thermal damage to yourself and others as the beam is basically a heat beam.

I bought this unit to be able to have night vision capabilities for our Drone And K9 Teams. We have IR beacons that show up really well using the night vision. The price was right and I am really happy with my purchase!

One of the best things you can do to improve the quality of your photos and videos from a drone is to add some filters. In bright conditions, neutral density filters lower your shutter speed. This can give you longer still photo exposures and more natural looking motion in videos.The one I use most frequently on my DJI Mini 2 is the circular polarizer. After installing the filter, I point the drone in the main direction I plan to photograph, and rotate the polarizer to get the best result.The filters are easy to install and remove. Place the "points" on the bracket against the back of the camera and slip the filter lens over the camera lens. The filters are very lightweight and don't interfere with the motion of the gimbal.I haven't tried the included propeller blades. They appear to be the same dimensions as the OEM blades, so I expect them to work OK.I've used this brand of filters on my DSLR, so I was not surprised at the high quality of these filters.

I got this to put on a lens baby and use for IR photography. It takes beautiful pictures!
