I do a tremendous amount of photography and am an old Leica user. It takes a lot to get me excited. When this digicam came down in price- I bought it. I have been using m43 and have a great deal invested in that size. Because of the weight- I have rarely used my Canon DSLR. I also do street photography so I need a fast camera. The EOS M is NOT a fast camera. The imaging, however, is spectacular. Notwithstanding the latest articles in magazines and on line, APS C is much better than m43.I use it with an optical v/f I also bought on Amazon. I shoot black and white and although the camera's color rendition is excellent, the black and white is so spectacular that I went specifically to this site to crow about it. I am waiting now with bated breath until a new EOS M is released with an integral EVF. If you get used to the focus lag... shoot with "continuous" your results, like mine will be worth the trouble. This was my first DLSR that I actually kept :) I ordered the Pentax K-X right before this one and ended up playing with both for a week before I returned the Pentax. I think this Canon is a higher quality product and has the benefit of a large user base, and therefore lots of knowledgebase in the community. The camera is pretty light and easy to use. It may be a bit cheaper on other websites, but I chose to go with Amazon due to the high quality of their customer service and easy return process.

Fantastic value for the money. I got two, deeply discounted at around $10 each, and am still wondering whether the low price was a mistake. These would be worth it even at regular price. Very sturdy!I attached one to a Pentax K3 with no issues. The other went on my vintage Pentax 35mm, and for that I needed to use a standard hole punch to make the small hole in the little protective leather flaps just a tad wider. On both cameras, the straps hang just right.I am a short woman, and the length is just fine for me with no adjustments. I can either place it over one shoulder, cross-body, or around my neck. The reverse side is a soft suede-like fabric. I especially like how the part right where it hits my shoulder has extra padding.The color is a beautiful cognac brown and looks amazing. (My picture has pretty dark lighting.)I will report back if anything changes, but so far, so good!

Fits my Pentax DSLR. It’s lightweight, and works well.

I already of the excellent 055 tripod & bought this Befree specifically for travel with my M43 mirrorless kit. When the legs are fully extended, the tripod is a little flimsy, but good enough for a small light camera such as an M43. The centre column needs to be extended to get a comfortable working height. I wouldn't put a full frame camera on it, but it is light & can easily be carried in one hand which as such fulfils my requirements for some travel night time shots.

For the price, it can't be beat. If you're using it for something heavy, you'd probably want to spend more. I'm using it for a Pentax DSLR camera. I'm not using lenses that are too big. I did some night shots of the sky/forest and they turned out great.

This has made carrying my heavy pentax 6x7 possible.
