It depends on many factors, the mode of your lens autofocus/whether you use flash/whether you shut down after taking the picture or wait for the camera to automatically sleep 

I don’t know why not. The filter pack is in probably a better environment because it is indoors. Less dust and humidity. Filters are tools. You as the photographer use the tools take your image. Just think outside the box, when taking that image. Some would say there is no “wrong” way to take a “right” image.
