Works flawlessly, I’ve had it for maybe a month now and I’ve encountered no problems. Only thing I’d say is M.2 is definitely a bit faster.

I just bought it at Amazon. Couldn’t wait to set it up. But the Flood Light was not detected. Then after searching multiple places found trouble shooting list. One of the item on the list was the camera should have firmware 10.47 or higher. But the camera had 10.45 and it won’t update the firmware. Then I attached an year old camera in a box (that had fw 10.51!!!), then bingo the flood light got recognized and works great.I just cannot believe an old camera got shipped with it. May be someone returned it and Blink just decided to sell it after repackaging.I still like the flood light & camera so I will give 4 star. But this is going back so I can get a different one.

ok so many of you are considering m.2 enclosures as a better alternative. here is why they are not. my use case. I have a Mac with 512g hd. plenty to store my programs and any video project I am working on. more than plenty. so why not use m.2 enclosure to hard store my videos? simple. with this I put a sticker on it with the date of when I filled it up. then throw it in a drawer. then when I want to pull a video I shot in may 2021, I find the drive that is stored on and wala it is there. not so easy to do on m.2. so you put a sticker with the date where? store it how? and have to pull your current m.2 out, install that one and see if your video is truly on that one or if you remembered the date wrong. seems like a big hassle to me.

I have another camera made by the same manufacturer and I really like it so I decided to get this “portable” version as well. I guess normally these types of camera are used for security, but the nature of this rechargeable camera gave me the idea to use it as a baby-cam for older kids. The magnetic mount requires only one screw in order to attach the base to a post, so I’ve placed screws in three different parts of the property; one in the back facing the swings (pictured), one facing the driveway, and one facing the front yard. That way, when the kids are out and no one is available to keep an eye on them, I can check on them to make sure no one is getting into trouble. Here is list of some of the things I think stand out about this camera:Likes:• The image is very clear even in SD mode• The pairing/connection process is extremely simple and quick• The camera feels solid and seems well suited for the outdoor elements• The included magnetic mount is geniusDislikes:These are really all software issues that can easily be fixed with a firmware update… Who’s to say they won’t be soon, right?• There is no way to add/remove/modify the date time-stamp or add your own label• There is no way to add or specify motion sensitivity zones (it’s all or nothing)• No way to turn the camera off remotely via the appWish list:• I would love it if the package included at least another magnetic mount. Or maybe list a way to buy a couple more. For my purposes, that would be ideal• A carrying case for a portable camera would also make sense• And thinking outside the box here, maybe an accessory where the magnetic mount is also a Qi charger could be sold separatelyOverall I think this is a solid unit with software that is probably still in its infancy and can be improved.

Say what you will about the Leica price premium but this is an amazing little monocular. I've been using it for about 6 months now and don't know how I ever lived without it. I'm a photographer and this fits nicely in my camera bag, to be used for spotting animals and people to approach and photograph. I also take it with me on extended mountain treks, where it is incredibly useful. The close-up lens is nice to have, but I find myself using it only infrequently, mostly because the case, where it is stored, is so bulky I tend to leave it home. It gets 4 stars instead of 5 due to the bulkiness of the case, which doesn't fit the lanyard, and factoring in price/value.But why the Leica? Because of the clarity and brightness of the image and the durability and build of the product. It's survived 4 foot falls onto dirt without damage. It's been inundated with rain and snow. I've let everybody and their uncle use the thing and it's still like new. The initial stiffness in the focus ring has loosened up. It's possible to shoot through the monocular using my Sony RX100M3 camera, or any smaller point-and-shoot. Just put the zoom on full and focus on infinity, then place the monocular over the lens. The results aren't spectacular, but it'll do as a long telephoto in a pinch.I look forward to decades of use of this investment, and eventually I'll pass it on to one of my kids.

I've had this camera set up and have used it for about a month. In summary, this is a fantastic budget option that has blown me away with all the features within the app and the crystal-clear video quality. Here's a list of pros & cons:For context, I've also owned and used the following cameras for both indoor/outdoor monitoring: Logitech C920 Webcam, EKACOM Webcam, Conico Security Camera, and a Ring Video Doorbell Pro and am comparing this Security Camera to those.PROS:> Video quality is excellent. Daytime is a bit better than night, but night vision is as good as it gets with cams. The app allows the user to switch between QHD, HD, and SD quality in situations where you might have poor internet collection.> The app is great. Very intuitive and feature-packed. Some features include screenshots, changing camera positions, manual lens switching, a built-in light, a siren, color mode changing, etc. I don't think that I even covered half with this list.> Extremely easy to move around. To add to the features list, being able to move the position of the camera via the app is super easy. A 4-way joystick allows quick and precise movement.> Tunable Motion and Audio detection. Having both options is incredibly useful and notifications can be sent right to your phone.> Local and Cloud video storage. I use a 128GB SD Card and have had no issues with saving recordings. The app allows the user to switch between the live feed and previously recorded videos at any time. They do offer a short trial with the cloud storage but I have not tried it.> Excellent 2-way audio. One of the best speakers I've heard on a camera. When I speak, the output actually sounds like me.> All cables, wall bricks, and mounting hardware are included.CONS:> Slow to connect sometimes. Sometimes when pulling up the video feed, I've found that I have to wait 5-10 seconds before the video is displayed as it connects. Not sure if it is just due to my internet/cellular connection but it happens sometimes.> I reached out to support but never heard back. I resolved my issues myself but I am not sure how the support team is for the product.OVERALL - Super high video quality and a feature-packed, easy-to-use app... Excellent price. Works well on a Leica Q2. The pseudo leather protects the body well from the metal rings.The strap is comfortable for the size and weight of the camera. Heavier cameras might be less comfortable.The strap feels good and like rope, can be folded/wound very conveniently when not in use.The length is superb for me (5' 9" ish) with the camera hanging not too low around mid torso.Recommended.

I mainly use it off camera (Leica M6 classic) with a wireless trigger. So far so good. I recommend it, provided you know how to deal with a manual flash.
