Use all of the EF and EF-S lenses on your EF-M mou
If you have an M mount camera, this adapter lets you use the hundreds of Canon lens models made since the late 1980's, many very reasonably priced. The Canon adapter maintains the quick focus of the camera, and was selling at a steep discount on Amazon.

Amazing !!
Digital correction is applied heavily on R mount canon cameras with this lens, but the end result is excellent. It’s not perfect.. coma is obvious with Astro-photography. But for the price, TINY size and weight.. I love it !! Ditching my old 16-35 in favour of this little gem.

Perfect match for the EOS M
So you finally decided on getting the EOS M (it's flaws considered). I assume you are a canon user, have a couple of good (canon EF/EF-S mount) lens lying around and would like to be able to use those on you EOS M. Just like me, you love your canon dslr but sometimes wish you can travel light but still be able to enjoy the canon ecosystem that you have grown to love. If you are what I assume you are, get this lens adapter.I took a gamble and bought a "like-new" used from a seller at Amazon and was very happy with a purchase. For anything more than $150 I probably would think twice. But I am not taking a start out because of the price. This adapter handles every canon mount lens I threw at it. The build quality is nice. The design (the way it attaches to the eos m; the included, detachable tripod mount) is well thought of... just perfect.

Compact and stable
Solid little tripod that will mount just about any size lens or camera combination. I have used with with a 400mm Canon lens attached to a Canon MarkII. Very compact fits on my back pack. Easy to adjust to any uneven surface.

Very hard not to love!
I'm a huge fan of prime lens and 50mm is one of those sweet spot focal lengths that should be in every camera bag, if not on the camera itself! Canon produced a massive hit with the affordable f1.8 50mm, dubbed the nifty-fifty. It was succeeded by the II, which sadly saw some corners cut in build quality with the transition to a plastic base. (While I have commented in prior reviews that I challenge the "need" for metal mounts in smaller, lighter lenses, I can't help but admit that I prefer a metal mount.). This latest iteration of the venerable "nifty-fifty" sees the return of the metal mount and upgrades the focus mechanism to the silently speedy STM stepping motor!OpticsWhat's not to love about a f1.8 lens? The optics are excellent as you would expect from the reputation of its prior versions. Talk about a fast lens, you can take some pretty incredible shots in poor light conditions with this. Beautiful bokeh! It provides excellent separation of your subject from the background, as if they jump out of the picture. I was very pleased with my results on a recent flower viewing trip. Terrific color representation, minimal chromatic aberration and distortion. It will not disappoint!Focus mechanismIf you haven't tried STM yet, prepare to be amazed. Fast and quiet! Great for video work too. I'm very happy with the Canon STM lineup.Build QualityAs mentioned previously, the metal mount has returned. (I can hear the cheering!). The barrel feels a little less sturdy than the 24mm and 40mm pancakes, but all in all, it's an improvement over the prior version. Considering its price, it is quite an impressive piece of work.PriceCheap, it would be hard to imagine anyone not happy with the priceMy recommendation is to run outside right now and buy this lens. You won't be disappointed.5 stars. Thank you Canon!

Excellent image quality with some caveats
I have to hand it to canon. The M3 is fantastic. I used to be impressed with the T3i and the SL1, but the image quality of the m3 is the best canon camera I have owned. The body is compact, and has an excellent and intuitive layout. The Fold out screen is great for high or low shots including (shudders) Selfies. The best part of the camera, is that with a few inexpensive adapters, I can use nearly any lens ever made. It has revived my relationship with my old manual focus lenses. I have even started perusing thrift shops and have struck gold, finding 2.8 and faster lenses for less than the price of a good burger. Heres what I like and don't like about the camera.Pros:- small size,- good button layout for quick access to most used items - exposure compensation, manual focus zooming,- solid build construction- Wireless image transfer to Iphone ( no wifi network required, but wifi on phone needs to be on)- rapid shutter response times 3 times faster than SL1.- ability to adapt manual focus lenses without extra glass ( FD mount, Nikon mount, pentax mount, screw mount)- Amazing image quality- Focus Peaking when manual focusing is spot on.- Half the size of the SL1- Large screen is easy to see and does reasonably in the sun.Cons- slow focusing with USM and Standard Focus motor lenses (all older technology) I was really disappointed, but not surprised. The hybrid focus system used with the M3 is better geared toward STM system lenses. You will notice a difference compared to just about any of canon's other SLRs and it may be due to the adaptor.- slow start times - 2x as long as the SL1- adapters needed for everything - you need them for every kind of lens you mount to them. the canon eos to M adapter is 200$, the Photodiox one is excellent for 40$- sometimes it's too small. the menu button gets pressed a lot if I am using a large lens.- Heavy. - is half the size of the SL1 and weighs just as much even though it has less going on inside. but is made out of better material.- Screen does well in the sun but can be difficult to see if there is glare.Overall this camera is 4 out of 5 stars. It is everything I wanted from canon except speed.Image included to show the incredible detail and color. It was shot with a 55-250 IS lens with no post processing.

Worth the price?
Say what you will about the Leica price premium but this is an amazing little monocular. I've been using it for about 6 months now and don't know how I ever lived without it. I'm a photographer and this fits nicely in my camera bag, to be used for spotting animals and people to approach and photograph. I also take it with me on extended mountain treks, where it is incredibly useful. The close-up lens is nice to have, but I find myself using it only infrequently, mostly because the case, where it is stored, is so bulky I tend to leave it home. It gets 4 stars instead of 5 due to the bulkiness of the case, which doesn't fit the lanyard, and factoring in price/value.But why the Leica? Because of the clarity and brightness of the image and the durability and build of the product. It's survived 4 foot falls onto dirt without damage. It's been inundated with rain and snow. I've let everybody and their uncle use the thing and it's still like new. The initial stiffness in the focus ring has loosened up. It's possible to shoot through the monocular using my Sony RX100M3 camera, or any smaller point-and-shoot. Just put the zoom on full and focus on infinity, then place the monocular over the lens. The results aren't spectacular, but it'll do as a long telephoto in a pinch.I look forward to decades of use of this investment, and eventually I'll pass it on to one of my kids.

Q
I have a canon ae1 camera with alot of lenses will i be able to use those lenses on my canon eos t7 camera?
A
The adapter for a EOS body to a Canon FD manual is the adapter needed. The Canon AE1 uses the FD/FL lens mount. The one I purchased works without a hitch. Mine is a K&F Concept Pro lens mount for Canon FD, FL lenses. From a F1 to a 5D Mark 4 with no issue.
Q
Will this work on an 82 mm Leica SL lens?
A
This will work on any 82mm lens.
Q
Will this fit on my canon 60d? Thanks
A
FD-EOS fit for Canon FD mount lens and canon EF mount camera body. canon 60d is EF mount, so the adapter ring can work with your camera, but you need to check your lens mount. could you pls let us know your lens specific model? service(AT)kentfaith(DO NOT)com, Please note: It is not same between Canon FD mount and EF mount, this adapter ring is only for Canon FD mount lens, please contact us if you want to purchase for Canon EF mount lens.
Q
So is meant to be put on a G7 to work with a Canon lens?
A
Just consider that, precisely because there are no electronics in between, the autofocus won't work. You will have to go manually
Q
Could this work with a g7? Just trying to clarify.
A
If you are referring to the Panasonic DMC-G7, then yes, it will adapt any Canon FD mount lens to any micro 4/3 mount camera. Including yours.
