I plugged the webcam into my HP workstation desktop computer, but the light stays red. Why doesn't it turn on?
A
The red light means the camera is on standby, turns green when you actually using the camera. 
Q
I've already purchased my tripod I just need the Transverse center column. can I buy that separately?
A
It's included in the tripod you bought. Loosen the big three-pronged red nut at the top of the legs and pull the ballhead unit up until it comes up no further. Rotate the centre rod until its horizontal and push it back through the ball it came up through to stabilise it. Hope that makes sense.

Is there a red filter lens accessory that is compatible with the case for scuba?
A
I believe this camera includes an option in the camera settings for the red filter used for underwater. I don't believe the external filter would be needed if this is turned on.

are there other bands you can buy and does it only come with blue
A
Barton is pricey. I can't speak for lesser brands.

Will this work on an 82 mm Leica SL lens?
A
This will work on any 82mm lens.
