Great Projector !!!!

Good quality for the price
I have been using this filter primarily to get rid of glare in my webcam setup so my requirements may not be as stringent as for more classical applications. Compared to a Nikon filter I have (of a different size, for a different lens), the polarization effect is a bit lower on the Tiffen, and it also lets through more light. Contrary to some comparisons I've seen online though, the Tiffen for me produces a warmer picture than the Nikon.

I use a filter adapter from 49 to 52.. can I screw the lens hood onto it?

You can easily screw the 52mm metal wide-angle sun visor onto the 49mm - 52mm step UP filter adapter. This can even be an advantage if you want to avoid possible shadowing at the edges with smaller focal length settings.

I need to mount a 52mm filter onto a 48mm threaded adapter. This set comes with 52-49 and 49-52. Looks like this will not fit. Correct?

hello the filter ring is suitable for filter installing on the lens, according we know, there is not 48mm lens or filter. Your camera's lens thread size will be marked somewhere on the lens barrel. This number is always preceded by a "Ø" (diameter) symbol. Eg. Ø52 = 52mm thread size. if your lens size is 48mm, the item is not suitable you

I have the set and they work great for me. The two adaptions you question are both in the set. You should not have any problems.
