Great for outdoor portraits, Senior photos, and da
This filter has changed the way that I do photography! When I pair this with my f/1.8 prime lens, I can get amazing depth of field shots in broad daylight without having them being blown out or overexposed. This made for some great Senior photos. And, I can take some great long-exposure shots during the daytime of waterfalls and things. I would definitely recommend this filter to any photographer looking to accomplish these things. There are a couple of drawbacks to this filter however. If you want to use this filter in combination with others such as a UV filter, this needs to be the filter on top. The mount on the top of this filter (not the side that attaches to the camera) is 55MM rather than 52MM. This means that with this filter on, I cannot attach my lens cap or any other filter. I ended up putting my UV filter onto the camera first, so it's not a big deal. The only other thing is that the arrow indicating what level of ND is being applied is on the bottom of the filter, so I have to flip up my camera to check where I'm at. I saw other reviewers commenting this as well.Overall, I like using this filter and I have gotten some great shots with it. Would recommend to any amateur photographer looking to step up their game.

Quality without the Big Price Tag
If you, like most of us, are looking to protect your expensive precision lenses on your camera and you are wondering whether such an inexpensive 'Basics' brand is really up to the job, then you need not worry. This filter comes beautifully packaged in a custom sized cardboard box which in turn contains a good casket which holds the filter firmly in place. This standard extends to the build quality and in use this is an excellent way of protecting your lens from dirt, scratches and moisture. In terms of reducing UV glare the impact is only modest, but then this is also the case with famous names like Hoya. I noticed no reduction in sharpness or colour when the filter was attached. Given the hundreds of pounds you can have to shell out if you damage a good lens these filters are self recommending.

Top quality lens filter, no flaws in the glass, li
This is a high quality lens filter and it fits perfectly on the Nikkor lenses that came with my camera kit. Years ago I took a few classes in B&W film photography, but I haven't really done much of anything since. My Dad knew how much I liked film photography, so he gifted me with a beginner's DSLR camera kit a couple of years ago, as well as a more advanced one more recently (no, he didn't forget, he just thought I was getting a little better). However, I am very much an amateur and I am still learning exactly how to use it (the filter as well as the camera and lens). I am having fun trying to find out exactly what my cameras can do. Some of the reviewers mentioned that using this 1/4 diffusion filter resulted in a strong effect and others thought it was more subtle. Perhaps it is just my untrained eye, but it seems rather subtle to me. In fact, much of the time I don't really see much difference unless it is very bright light conditions. The filter is light-weight and the glass is of high quality with no visible imperfections. I like that I can use this filter by stacking it with other filters. The current price of $35.00 seems very reasonable (I bought the 52 mm version).

Great for Protection
Fits perfect with my Nikon 70-300mm lens. This is just a clear filter used for protection of the outer element of your lens. There is no effect with this filter that I can perceive. It does not cause any unwanted effects either. Some have reported extra flares or whatever. I try every which way I think of to cause that to happen with and without this filter, and could not duplicate those results. If your camera lens does it, well, that is your camera lens. This filter is not the cause.

Must Have
This filter is a must have. It protects your lens glass if your camera drops or if something hits the lens while you are walking around. I have dropped my camera about waist length, without a lens hood and as I picked it up slowly expecting to have to buy another lens, the only thing that was broken was the filter. So every time I get a new lens, I purchase a filter and Tiffen is an awesome brand. It came well packaged too with no scratches.

Q
How does this ND2-ND400 filter work
A
K&F Concept ND2-ND400 lens filter controls the amount of the light that enters into camera lens with two sets of polarizing glass of high transparency.
Q
New to this how do I determine what nd filter will fit my lense? My Sony a6400 came with a kit lens of 18mm to 135mm.
A
Look at the end of the lens again. Approx opposite the lens zoom range, u’ll see a zero with a line thru it. Next to it will be a number (possible 58 or 58mm), that will be ur lens size. That should hopefully help but all my lens are not Sony so I can’t be 100% sure.
Q
Does this works with Nikon D5000 67mm lenses(to adapt them/other lenses to that camera) ?????
A
Yes. Camera brand doesn't matter, it's all about the lens diameter.
Q
Wil this work with the Nikon D5500?
A
I don't see why not, remember that the filter goes on the lens, not on the camera.
Q
Will this work with the Sandmarc anemorphic lens?
A
Hi, thank you for your appreciation ,this filter just for camera lens , so it couldn't be used on Sandmarc lens, thanks
