I enjoy macro photography and was very happy when Nikon announced the 105mm f2.8 Micro lens for the Z mount cameras.The lens is larger than than the F mount counterpart, but not as heavy. It produces outstanding images, sharp from corner to corner. As a S-line Z mount lens, it has a customizable control ring and function button.Focusing is quick and silent, and the lens includes a focus-limiting switch to limit the working distance for close up work. It also has 4.5 stops of VR, so while you may not want to necessarily ditch the tripod for true macro work, you can use this in the field with confidence if you are not traveling with a tripod. The included photo was taken handheld.Highly recommended!

This clip on lens set is awesome for macro photography with my iphone. I still have to buy a small tripod later, but by improvising and bracing the iphone carefully while shooting close ups, I had some really good shots. Close ups of my miniature artwork came out very well, as did shots of some of the rocks that I collect. Next I will experiment with photos of my family around the dinner table for trying out the wide angle lens. That will have to wait however until after our time of social distancing. The little rechargeable clip on light looks like it may prove useful, as well. Overall, not bad for about $40. Make sure you watch the helpful and professional instructional videos that are accessed via a small usb that comes packaged with the handy lens kit. It all stores neatly away in a small zippered case. Thank you for designing such a great product.

This is awesome for my macro photography and is very versatile

I am learning more about macro photography in particular, and wide angle photos generally. The lens kit is very well-made, and I especially liked the helpful video instructions and tips that Xenvo provides.

I bought a Z mount platform specifically for the S line lenses, and yet again, this doesn't disappoint. I bought this because I found I've been trying to do more "macro" style photography with my regular zoom lenses, which doesn't really work very well. As such, this is my first macro lens. Well, this delivers.My one and only complaint isn't really about the lens itself, it's more about Nikon's website/documentation about the lens. Yes, it technically has a max aperture of f2.8, but that's only achievable when focusing further than about 1.7 meters away. If you get closer than that (which you need to for macro photography), it starts incrementally stopping down. At closest focus, it's maximum aperture is f4.5. After I thought about it for a bit, I realized that's just how it has to be due to how the aperture ratio works, so it makes sense and I'm not upset by it. F2.8 at closest focus would be absolutely ginormous and it would make the lens huge. I just wish the documentation said something about that. Maybe it does and I missed it, but in case it doesn't or in case you missed it too, now you know. (I also have to assume most other macro lenses do something similar, in the same way a lot of zoom lenses have variable max apertures, but I don't have the experience with macro lenses to know.)

I've always been interested in Macro photography but never could justify buying an expensive macro lens. Saw an ad for the Xenvo set and decided to take a chance on it not expecting much. I received the lens set yesterday and this picture is the first picture I took with my 89 dollar Samsung cell phone. The phone was hand-held, in natural daylight on a breezy day, and I couldn't be happier! I am totally in love with this lens. btw, this is not a paid comment.
