I use one on a Pentax 24-70mm filter size 82mm. Just make sure you buy the right size for your lens. I have the nd1000, and I am very happy with result. They also sell adaptor step down for your other lens.

Make sure the SD card is not full. If the card is full, the camera will stop taking pictures; make sure the battery is fully charged; make sure the camera mode switch is slid to the "ON" position; please format the SD card with the camera before use or when the camera stops taking pictures.

It can't not be fixed well with the lens without the adapter ring.
you should buy another adapter ring of 95mm size if you want to make this square filter fixed on the lens.
