Arrived promptly and works great. Needed a way to connect my laptop to a VGI only monitor, and my laptop takes HDMI or mini display. This adapter works great for what I need. It also comes with an audio cable to play sound from the laptop through the monitor speakers. I have not connected that because I don't need it. However, I tried to play sound through my laptop speakers and the headphone jack with the HDMI plugged in, and the sound wouldn't play. I could have fixed it in settings if I needed the monitor at that point but I just unplugged the adapter and that fixed the issue.
