Exactly as they are supposed to work. Used to take solar eclipse. Worked perfectly.

Bought this and a solar filter and iPhone holder for the 8/21 solar eclipse. Served its purpose very well.

I really liked this filter. I got this filter with the intention of the Solar eclipse that just occured. I am very happy that I got it and will be using again.

I have HOYA ND1000 filter also and this one does about the same job even though it costs much less.

I was specifically looking for binoculars for the eclipse and somehow got routed to these without realizing that they are NOT solar safe binoculars. My bad for not reading the description well enough. They seem to be pretty decent binoculars, though, even if I have no use for them. Maybe I'll take up bird watching or something...

Finally got to use my new filter. Purchased specifically to take pictures of the solar eclipse. Worked as expected and couldn't be happier. Would definitely buy again.

Great filter but I was looking to use it for last years eclipse and read everything that was on the site about using for the eclipse. Fortunately an astronomer friend kept me from burning out my equipment but showed me other uses for this filter.

I used this telescope with a filter to watch the 2017 solar eclipse and was not disappointed. With the filter, I watched the sun spots traverse the sun surface for several days before the eclipse with good clarity. I actually bought a really nice tripod to replace the low-quality one that comes with the telescope and a solar filter to watch the 2017 eclipse, but I didnt mind, because the telescope was so inexpensive to begin with. All of the equipment fits neatly in the backpack that came with the telescope.
