Having just bought a new lens that had a filter size different to any filters I currently owned, I was interested to see this Neewer 58mm set which provides all the basic filters.Even though the set is 58mm it could be used on lenses with a smaller filter size if desired by using an adapter ring. Such rings are not expensive.The set consists of a UV filter, a CPL filter, and four neutral density filters - ND4, ND8, ND16, and ND32. What is interesting about this set is that there are two adapter rings that allow the filters to be used on GoPro cameras. Along with the two provided lens caps all the filters and adapters fit into the provided storage case.The listing states the adapters and filters are compatible with GoPro Hero models 8, 7, 6, 5. As I have a GoPro Hero 8, this was very much a case of killing two birds with one stone as the saying goes.In use the filters all screwed on to my new lens without issue. The filters are slimline and as such are a little fiddly to install but they did all fit with a little bit of effort on my part. The filters also screwed into the GoPro adapter without problem as well.I found the CPL filter to be a little stiffer than I personally like but after ten minutes turning it loosened up to where I was happy with it.I have other Neewer products, and these filters are certainly up to their usual standard. Considering you are getting six filters, two adapters, and two lens caps, for this price I would recommend the set to anyone looking for an affordable basic set

Each lens has premium 18-layer coatings that give a flawless appearance and reduce lens flare and avoid vignetting. Also, it is very easy to install, just unscrew the original filters in a counterclockwise direction and then turn the filter clockwise to easily change the filter.Upon using this, I must say that it works as it should, but it is not highly comparable to the branded ones. However, this one from Neewer is indeed ideal for beginner or amateur photographers. So far, I am very satisfied with its quality even though it doesn’t have that high-quality filter. It is ideal to use in capturing your adventures while travelling.With all that said, this filter kit is a of reasonable quality for beginners to intermediate use. Quality-wise, it is on par with the price.

This is a high quality lens filter and it fits perfectly on the Nikkor lenses that came with my camera kit. Years ago I took a few classes in B&W film photography, but I haven't really done much of anything since. My Dad knew how much I liked film photography, so he gifted me with a beginner's DSLR camera kit a couple of years ago, as well as a more advanced one more recently (no, he didn't forget, he just thought I was getting a little better). However, I am very much an amateur and I am still learning exactly how to use it (the filter as well as the camera and lens). I am having fun trying to find out exactly what my cameras can do. Some of the reviewers mentioned that using this 1/4 diffusion filter resulted in a strong effect and others thought it was more subtle. Perhaps it is just my untrained eye, but it seems rather subtle to me. In fact, much of the time I don't really see much difference unless it is very bright light conditions. The filter is light-weight and the glass is of high quality with no visible imperfections. I like that I can use this filter by stacking it with other filters. The current price of $35.00 seems very reasonable (I bought the 52 mm version).

I've had the Action 2 since launch and always thought it could benefit from some ND filters, not only to help get me the right shutter speed in bright light, but to protect the lens, which is not replaceable. This is a set of four ND filters which cover the basics for most of my shooting needs and they're really nicely made. Neewer are really on a roll these days with their high quality, affordable camera gear.I am going to keep the ND8 filter on my camera all the time to act as a lens protector and when I am shooting in bright light I swap over to the ND32 or ND64. It is a small hassle having to keep them all clean and make sure no dust gets between the filter and the lens. I wish Neewer would make a variable ND filter for this camera, but for now these are a great solution at an affordable (but still a little expensive price).

The NEEWER 58mm Lens Filter Kit Compatible with GoPro Hero 8 7 6 5 is a very fine set that includes all the filters, adapters, and caps you'll ever need for that 58 mm lens. I tested the circular polarizer and each of the neutral density filters on a Sony A7RIV with a 45mm Samyang lens with a 58mm filter ring adapter. The nearby photo with the with the brightly lit barn was shot with the polarizer and an UV filter. As you can see, no vignetting whatsoever. The barns in shade photo was taken with an UV filter, the polarizer, and a ND32 filter. Again, no vignetting. I had the same results with the other ND filters. These filters will not adversely affect your shots. It's a great $49.99 kit and I highly recommend it.

1) Not all pieces in that Neewer 50 in one action kit are 100% compatible with my GoPro. As a matter of fact, the width of some attachements is a bit too narrow to match the width of the camera's own attachement point;2) I added two extra buckles to the chest harness in order to make easier to put on and to remove when wearing a jacket (or many layers of clothing) and/or a helmet and/or in case of emergency. In that regard, I suggest the company to add those buckles right on at the factory line.

I have a lot of Neewer photography gear. My collection started based on price, but it's the high quality that has kept me seeking out their products, and what makes their gear such a value. This lens filter kit is a great example. The 6 lens filters are pristine and the hard case is firm and protective. I don't have a GoPro, instead I ordered this for my 58mm Nikkor lens. Since I won't be using the GoPro adapters, I wish the larger foam cutouts were kept at filter size. But that's an easy modification that I can make. I have a CPL filter from another brand that gets stuck on the threads of my UV filter every time I use it. No such threading issue with these, the filters spin on and off smoothly. This is a worthwhile purchase. Highly recommend.
