Nice case and filters
I used the filters on 58mm nikon camera lenses, the threading matched and the filters all worked as they should. I won't have need for the GoPro stuff, but the filters and case themselves are well worth the price asked. A nice addition to my camera equipment.

Clean and clear filter
I have both the 52 and 58mm circular polarizers from Tiffen and they both work fantastically. The outer ring spins easily and smoothly, and the filter doesn't reduce the image quality one bit. This is a must have for taking outdoor pictures as it really makes clouds pop and cleans up reflections. Want to get a shot through a glass window? Use this filter to prevent unwanted reflections from getting in the way. Like your framing and exposure, but getting blown out reflections in that lake? You'll lose a stop of light, but it's worth it to get rid of those stray sunbeams in the water.I've taken them both on numerous hikes and in some fairly dangerous conditions. I've thrown them in my camera bag without much regard to their safety, and yet they work fine without any scratches. For the money, Tiffen is great.

Works well
I use a Nikon D3100, I bought a Nikon 50mm f/1.8D AF Nikkor Lens. That lens has 58mm threads. I bought the 58mm Tiffen Circular Polarizer filter to use on that lens. At the time of my order it was sold and fulfilled by Amazon. I paid for shipping and received the filter in less than four days. The filter came in a hard plastic box that I use for storing the filter. It looked new and works fine. No filter problems and I give it 5 stars. The only issue is screwing it onto the lens is a bit tricky because you only have half the width to work with but I blame that on my fingers and lack of any real nails. I have noticed that if the filter doesn't go on straight it may make a glare effect but when I see that, I rescrew it on and that takes care of the issue.

worked fine for the price
worked fine for the price. budget 58MM Circular Polarizer Glass Filter. Some other multicoated ones work a little better but over a hundred bucs.

Inexpensive option that does what it claims
The AmazonBasic Circular Polariser 58mm is a slightly unusual acquisition as my photographic filters tend to be from a known and trusted photographic specialist brand, or sometimes from the camera brand. There had been a very few exceptions but they were usually effect filters for occasional use rather than one that would or could be often used. There are at least two lenses in my collection that have 58mm filter threads but only one circular polariser had been previously purchased on the assumption that only one would be needed. This will, at least, provide some extra flexibility. Unlike some, it does not appear to include a position marking (a dot, arrowhead etc) that some have to aid the user although it isd not a major issue. Ease of rotation is reasonable if not buttery smooth, but it is expected from a lower-priced product and in-line with many others. If you want smooth, it may cost you £80 or more. There are no obviously visible flaws in the filter and it does not appear to suffer from any optical errors that may either affect my images or interfere with metering, focussing and other camera systems. These filters can be rather expensive so an opportunity to try one that is not could not be missed. It would therefore be a worthwhile addition to your camera kit, providing not only a mild neutral density filter - useful in itself, but a means to darken skies, remove reflections from water, snow, metal and so much more. This could be one of the most useful additions to a system.

Great kit of ND filters.
I bought these as a gift for my son. He has a Nikon D200 and a lens that is a 58mm filter size, so this gives him everything he needs for outdoor photography. I can't wait to see the images he produces with them.

Q
For the 52mm version, what size are the outside (female) threads?
A
the outside (female) threads is 58mm.
Q
i have three lenses: wide angle, tele, and kit lenses with thread size as followed: 82,58,55 would this polarizer filter fit these, or need adaptor?
A
This filter is an 82mm which will match up to your lens with the 82mm glass, however for the 58mm and 55mm you will need step up rings (pieces that have one end that would fit your thread on the lens, and the other the thread of the filter) and you will be able to use one filter for all 3. It’s a cheaper and effective way to keep costs down using step up rings as filters can get expensive
Q
will this fit in a rokina 12mm lens for fuji x series?
A
If the filter size for your lens any of these adapter ring ( 52mm/ 58mm/ 62mm/67mm/ 72mm/ 77mm/ 82mm) then yes.
Q
Does this fit a Canon EOS 20D with a kit lens of 18-55mm?
A
Hello the filter size is 58mm, so as long as your lens size i s58mm, the filter can work with your Canon EOS 20D
Q
Will this filter fit on a 58 mm lens on nikon d3400
A
hello , for the 58mm nd filter, as long as your lens size is 58mm, the 58mm filter can work on nikon d3400. Your camera's lens thread size will be marked somewhere on the lens barrel or printed underneath your lens cap. This number is always preceded by a "ø" (diameter) symbol.
