This purchase was my first foray into the world of powered monitor speakers. I have multiple devices on my desk, including two computers and a TV. Each had their won speakers and volume controls, and it was unwieldy. After looking into different options, I decided to pick up a stereo mixer and a set of powered speakers.Based on some of the other reviews, I was concerned about the bass levels and loudness of these speakers. Overall I shouldn't have worried. For general computer and tv and movie watching, I couldn't be happier with this purchase. The sound is clear, and I get enough bass for my uses, and I haven't noticed missing anything.
